I felt the fringes of my coils resting upon my forehead, as my eyes flutter slowly open to view the pink-haired rebel that laid asleep next to me. Fetch was still passed out, wearing nothing but her white-pink ombré shirt that had a pink skull designed in the front, shorts, and leggings.

"~Hahaha~" I giggle softly, finding this situation hysteric. I throw my silk sheets off of my body, and settle my body out of the bed. Frailing my head around to rejuvenate my curls, I glance at the clock that was placed on my dresser:

(*7:15AM*)

After taking a brief shower, and after orientating myself in the same new clothing I had been wearing since I arrived to Seattle, I take one last look at my hungover friend. She was peaceful in her sleep, with her bun loosened enough that some pieces of her hair were freely framing her face.

I jolt my head to the side, clicking my tongue because my friend had let herself go too far. Zipping up the side of my heeled boots, I had finally walked to my bedroom door to open it, "Gah....Lena?"

I hear her raspy, yet tired voice. Turning my head, I see Fetch adjusting her body to sit up, with her head held on her hand, "Fuck..."

"Hey, easy." Briskly roving my feet towards her, I sit right next to her on the brim of the bed, feeling her temperature with my hand, "You had a few too many last night, Rosa."

She chuckles heartily,  wincing due to her migraine, "How many bottles did I have?"

She then peeks her eyes towards the night clock, "And why the hell are you up this damn early?"

Once she glinted her eyes back at me, I perceive a blithe smile, "Gotta scope out the city on top of the needle, it's something I started to do every morning since I came to Seattle."

She rolls her eyes and groans, recessing her head into my chest, "Can't you just stay here and not do Conduit things for once?"

"Abigail..." I stern-fully voice, holding onto her shoulders so she could look at me,
"Your body is going to take two hours to restore full functionality, because of all the alcoholism you have in your system. There's food in the fridge, eat something, and if you're a coffee drinker like me, brew yourself something, won't you?" I impart my eyes towards the large window of my bedroom. Standing from the rear of the bed, I click open the locks of my window, and push it outward.

The smell. The smell of a city; burning embers, factory smoke, and the cold, dense thickness in the air. I then glimmer my eyes back to my friend, "Once you're ready to start making noise, let me know. Adios, Rosa!" Before she could even respond in her current state, I had already vetoed my entire body into fog and ice, floating across the air on top of another rooftop.

"LENA YOU DAMN SOLDIER, YOU!" I hear her voice yell from my bedroom window, ultimately making me smile as I twirl my body towards the distant needle using my powers.

Delsin's P.O.V

Laying on my stomach, I was about to haul my phone across the room as it kept buzzing due to the dozens of messages I've been receiving.

"The hell..." Barely awake myself, I crawl my bare upper body through the sheets, straining my hand out to grasp my cell phone. "Fuck, it's too early for this shit." I curse under my breath as I flatten my back against the sheets, scrolling through my messages.
