"Wait- WAIT PLEASE GOD DON'T-!" I silenced the stocky British man by extending my arm out rapidly to unleash a thick casing of ice towards his body, trapping him against the wall.

I frown at him, displeased as I prepare for an intense encounter with my past colleagues. "Oh, be quiet while I clean up the mess you've made, viejo (old man.)"

(Let's bring some long awaited action back to the series!)

>> Right as I finished encasing him with ice, the woman with the lime tinted tresses swung her weighty shotgun at me. "You freaky BITCH-!"

I evade under the shotgun and back-kick her in the abdomen, fog escaping from my sneaker that impacted it so - unintentionally. "AARGH!" She yelps, crashing into the brunette who was also responsible for capturing me.

Before my mind could process the abrupt arrival of my powers that hours earlier I struggled with, the Syndicates began circling around me persistently, one by one. <<

>> I whip my curls backwards as my face lifts towards the entrance of the restaurant, a total of five enemies surrounding me.

One man yells out as he launches a cross-punch towards my face, but I catch it just in time only to effortlessly pull onto his arm to throw him into the punch that another man threw, hearing the impact as both men succumb to the floor.

I duck under a woman who also swings her weapon at me, grabbing the upper barrel with one hand as I crash my elbow into her nose, knocking her immediately off balance before I completely disarm her.

I spin around another woman before tucking the shotgun I now held into the side of her rib cage, the pain from where I strike her causing her to curl her elbow into her rib.

In that split second she attempts to grab onto the throttle of the shotgun, therefore I quickly turn the shotgun with my hands, moving under it before the mere strength of my momentum causes her to flip upside down; her back slamming against the ground. <<

>> Simultaneously, two men charge towards me in an attempt to restrain my hands. Instantly hopping off both of my legs, I bring my feet up just in time for their chins to collide against it. Ice formed onto my feet, so as soon as they rushed into my feet, the ice promptly broke through their skin.

No, No! Powers, contain yourselves! I only want to subdue nothing more and nothing less!

I extended my arms out in an effort to contain the enemies I'd already knocked onto the ground - but I was so distracted and focused on my powers that only the yank from the collar of my puffy vest jacket forcefully flung me towards the ground. "Gah..!"

"I GOT HER! HOLD HER DOWN!" The woman that yanked my collar hollered - they hastily pulled the fabric of my white long sleeve from my arms as their own arms, hands and fingers circled around my body before I could even blink. <<

I felt myself drifting. I feared hurting them to a point of no return. I feared killing them the way I would have before.

Before I knew it, my deepened traumatic response brought to light a memory of the one who would've overcome this situation clearly:

[[ Strength in numbers." Blade told us in the academy. I remember the sweet consonance of his grey-hazel eyes as he looked at me.

"Sometimes we don't have a choice but to admit that too many people can be overwhelming. But don't you ever run away when it means that you can stand up for those that can't stand up for themselves."
