Both are young (or at least appear to be young) aged characters from a popular series of the new generation of anime
Both are skilled teachers that specializes in unique abilities and take the main character (Yuji Itadori and Denji respectively) as a student to teach them the ways of fighting, killing, etc.
Both grow a strong bond with the main character throughout their lessons. And while may seem like good guys, they are actually apart of the dark side. But in some ways are not fully evil because they care and has fought alongside the main hero in dire situations
Both are have been underestimated by their opponents because they don't look powerful but are extremely deadly figthers
Both possess an incredible power that allows them to manifest and control in the way they want (Gojo's Immense Cursed Energy and Makima's ability to manipulate someone's body and blood)
Both have colorful hair and mostly wear a black outfit
Both have beaten many fighters and monsters including their students
Both have a strict yet witty attitude
Both rarely show their truest potential till the time calls for it
Both look young but are actually older (Gojo being almost in his 30s and Makima being 100+ years old)
Both are one of the most strongest characters within the series and has the most experience then anybody else
Despite being cold-blooded killers, they do have a good heart for the students they trained and wants to see them get stronger and stronger to where maybe someday they could beat their teacher
