Wren leaned up on her elbows in the unfamiliar bed, her hand reaching up to rub eyes.

"Damn." She whispered to herself. "Why the fuck can't I sleep?"

She couldn't tell if her insomnia was caused by her excitement for being in Orlando, the nap she took earlier in the day, or the stupid brunette man that was still racing around in her little mind.

Wren was becoming increasingly agitated with herself over her own thoughts, wiping her brow as she tried to push Sapnap to the back of her mind. She truly didn't understand what he was doing in her head. Of course she found him attractive—who wouldn't—but that didn't mean her mind should be solely thinking about him all the time. Yet, that's exactly what was happening.

That's all she had been doing all day. At the beach she would glance at Sapnap to see if he was glancing back, she sat next to him at dinner just to enjoy his presence, and now she was sat in bed, still thinking about if he was awake, or what they would do together tomorrow.

Wren was agitated with herself. She came to Florida for Punz, and to meet his roommates and connect with them, not fall in love with one of them.

She lightly smacked her face, trying to get her mind on track, and pushed herself off of the bed. Wren tiptoed to the door of the guest bedroom, opening it and quietly walking down the hallway, hoping not to wake anyone.

She didn't even have to check her phone to understand how ungodly late it was into the night, so she silently prayed that her venture out into the kitchen wouldn't wake any of the boys.

And for awhile, she believed she was successful. Wren found herself sitting at the kitchen island, silently sipping at a glass of water as she bounced back between scrolling through Instagram and twitter. She giggled lightly to herself as she looked at stans going crazy on twitter about her being in Orlando, before a creak down the hall made her snap her head in its direction.

To Wren's dismay—and delight—Sapnap emerged from the dark hallway, rubbing his eyes with his hand.

Wren mentally cursed herself, believing she had woken him up, before opening her mouth to speak, "I'm sorry-"

"Holy fuck!" Sapnap nearly yelled, before immediately quieting himself. "Holy shit, Wren. You scared the fuck out of me. I didn't know you were in here."

"I'm so sorry." Wren breathed, stifling her giggles. "I didn't mean to wake you up, or scare you."

Sapnap gave her a confused look as he fully entered the kitchen now. "Wake me up? You didn't wake me up, I've been up. Couldn't sleep. Why are you up?"

Wren didn't answer right away, as she was too busy taking in his presence. It was the first time she had seen Sapnap without a hat on, and his curly brown hair was tangled in a mess that still somehow suited him well.

He adorned a black T-shirt and sweat-shorts, the shirt riding up ever so slightly as he stretched his arms above his head.

      "Wren?"

The girl paused her ogling and forced her eyes up towards his face. "Yes? Sorry, what did you say?"
