"I know you're not sick."

It was the next morning, and Wren was drinking water when Ki had spoke. Her friends words had caught her off guard for a moment. "What do you mean?"

Ki shrugged. "You haven't coughed, sneezed, or shown any signs of being sick. I know you when you're sick, you're a big baby."

"Yeah, yeah. Whatever. You caught me." Wren laughed. But Ki continued.

"So why didn't you want to stream last night?"

Wren did her best to keep her composure. She knew Ki would scold her if she told her the reason she skipped out on streaming, and frankly she didn't feel like getting lectured at ten in the morning. "I just didn't feel like it."

Ki shook her head, "Because you felt like watching Sapnap stream instead?"

Wren's eyes widened, "How did you-"

"A couple hours after you went to bed, I came into your room to check on you." Ki interrupted. "You were up though, to my surprise, and I saw and heard what you were watching."

"So?" Wren shrugged. "I can't watch my friends stream?"

Ki sighed, her hands resting on the counter. "Oh, please. Wren, you like him. Just be honest with me."

"I don't, Ki! We're just friends, and I wanted to watch his point of view last night." Wren shot back. "And his team won, so I'm glad I did."

"Wren." Ki pried. "Just tell me the truth. You know you can trust me."

Wren sighed. The girl rested her head against the counter, before mumbling out. "Fine. I do like him."
