020 Truth

     Wren had been bugging Punz since the panel ended to tell her what he had been hiding earlier, much to his dismay.

       The blonde girl followed around her friend like a puppy, pushing and prodding at him to fess up, her anxiety eating away at her every minute he didn't tell her.

        What happened on the panel didn't ease her anxiety either, considering Sapnap had nonchalantly confessed he had feelings for a 'certain special streamer'. He didn't say it word for word, but when a fan asked the brunette if he had feelings he 'blushed like an idiot and dodged the question', according to Wilbur.

       Wren was practically losing her mind, wanting so badly to know if what Punz knew tied into Sapnap's reaction on the panel. She had to know if Sapnap had feelings for another girl, possibly for Ki.

      "We're alone now." Wren mumbled to Punz, yanking him to a discrete corner of the convention. "Tell me."

       Punz shook his head I'm disapproval. "For fuck sake, Wren. Do you have no patience?"

      "You know I don't." She laughed, Punz not returning the gesture. "Quit being so serious. Tell me."

      Punz looked around, checking as if he were being watched by the government. He looked at the girl and sighed. "When I got back to my room last night after helping you move into Wilbur's, Sapnap, Karl, and George were all talking about Ki."

     Wren rolled her eyes in defeat. "Of course-"

      "I'm not done, dimwit." Punz interrupted. "They we're talking about how weird it was, how odd it was that your friend was even hanging around them."

       Wren shook her head, assuming Punz was hiding the truth. "You don't have to spare me, Luke. What did they actually say?"

      "I'm being for real." He exclaimed. "I asked them what it was all about, cause I genuinely wanted to know, and George said she just started talking to them out of nowhere. They didn't care at first because they're not assholes, but it got uncomfortable after she started rubbing up on Nick."

      Wren scrunched her face in disgust, willing Punz to go on.

      "We came in not long after, which they didn't notice how upset you were, at least, they didn't mention it to me. Anyways, we came in and not long after that happened they moved rooms and that's when Ki left, to come find you—I'm assuming."

       Wren took a deep breath, trying to process all he said. Punz looked at her, waiting for her to respond, but she didn't.

        "That's a good thing, Wren." Punz pressed. "He doesn't like her. I mean- I already knew that. He likes you."

        Wrens posture didn't change. "I don't know. I mean- yeah, I guess that's good. I don't know if that means he likes me, though?"

       Punz shot her a questioning look, so she continued.

       "We're not like a thing- or serious in any way. But if a guy came all up on me, I'd back them off, right? Why didn't he just do that?"

        Punz nodded. "That's fair. Nick's pretty shy, so he probably didn't wanna confront her, or be shitty to her. You're right though, he should've just told her to get off."

        Wren shrugged. "Oh well. It's over now."

       Punz shook his head. "The situations over, but not you guys. You two still have a chance. At least, I think so."

       "I think you're the only one who thinks so." Wren muttered. "It's just way too much to think about right now, you know? This is why I hate love and shit, it really fucks you up when it's a bad kinda love."

       Punz grew a smirk, raising his eyebrows at Wren. "Love, huh?"

       Wren rolled her eyes and turned away from him. "You're dumb, I didn't mean it like that. Let's go, anyways, I'm ready for this damn convention to be over with."
