Part 10 - Quidditch Tryouts

Finally, on the day of the tryout. Hermione looks at Serenity worriedly. But at the same time, she pities Serenity. Blood status is important among Slytherin. Hermione can see the different position that Serenity was in compared to Millicent on their team. Millicent was the centre where two of her other team member cover her. Millicent is their centre of attention.

But it is the opposite of Serenity. Her two teammates ignore her so they can focus on scoring, while she serves as their cover.

"Oh, Serenity," said Hermione sadly.

Hermione can see that Serenity knew it but, Serenity just obeys the two boys' orders. There were times Serenity improvise according to the situation, which lead her team to score. Thanks to her cover that the two boys were able to score. Millicent's team is getting angry. The two boys aim to goal again but out of blue, Serenity's broom act violently, making Serenity lose her grip and fall off.

"SERENITY!" scream Hermione in horror.

But Serenity acts fast. She pulls her wand that she keeps in her arm pad.

"FINITE!" chanted Serenity towards her broom, making it stop moving around violently, "ACCIO BROOM!"

The broom flies fast to Serenity, right before she hit the ground, she grabs the broom and flies toward Millicent. Millicent is with the quaffle now. But she is too far ahead for Serenity to chase which leads Millicent to score. After that Millicent frowns as she looks at Serenity. Serenity took aback at the way Millicent look at her. Then she saw Millicent look at the audience stand.

There are Pansy and Daphne among other students. Millicent flies to them. Serenity continues to look and it looks like three of the girls are in some kind of argument.

"Millicent! Get back into the game!" call Marcus.

When Millicent flies back, Serenity can see an angry look on her face. Not to mention, Pansy and Daphne are angry as well. The game commences. As usual, Serenity is ignored by her teammate and Millicent's group only focuses on the two boys. Serenity saw this but maintain close. Millicent and her team focus and attack the two boys. During the struggle, one of the boys drops the quaffle.

Serenity speed on catching the quaffle before anyone realizes it, head to goal post and score. Her fast move earns a loud cheer from the student.

"Good call Serenity!"

"Go Serenity! GO!"

"YEAH! SERENITY" cheers Hermione loudly, making the other Slytherin frowns, seeing that the only Gryffindor is cheering for Serenity.

Serenity smiled and wave her hand to Hermione.

"I see enough. Call all of them" say Marcus to his co-captain.

The co-captain node and blow the whistle, as the sign the game has ended. The two boys in Serenity's team cheer happily since they scored the most points. Millicent and her team look down found. The six of them wait in the middle of the field while Marcus and the team discuss among themselves. Finally, they have done and one of the team members flies to Pansy and Daphne.

The two girls smile shyly and walk away. They join the team as they all walk to six of them. The two boys look confident while Serenity looks down at her feet. She did not do anything extraordinary during the game. Millicent and her teammate look down. Knowing that maybe none of them will get into the team. Pansy and Daphne are told to stand in between the participants and the team.

Marcus and the team now are standing facing their future Chaser, in other words, Marcus Chaser buddy.

"I shall first address the winning team, congratulations all on getting the most point during the game but unfortunately not all of you will get into the team. From this team, with an agreement with the rest of the team, the first one to join the team officially is SERENITY SNAPE" announce Marcus.
