Part 45 - Rest in Peace Father

"I got the feeling Professor Snape like lilies" smiled Hermione.

Serenity smiled back and take the lily. Just like Dumbledore's funeral, there's a Eulogy. For Snape, it is Professor Slughorn who read his Eulogy. Serenity did not pay any attention to it as she knew who Severus Snape truly is. Severus Snape is her father, that is all that matters. All the while Harry hold Serenity's hand and she let him be. Her eye never leaves the lily flower in her hand.

"Serenity" call out Harry.

Serenity looks up to Harry.

"It is our turn to pay respect," said Harry.

Serenity nods her head and together with Harry, they walk to each coffin. One by one until finally Snape's coffin. Harry goes first. Harry looks at Snape's body, which looks so peaceful.

"I ...... have nothing to say but thank you. You don't have to do it but you did it anyway, without asking anything in return. I owe you everything. Thank you so much, Professor Snape" say Harry with respect.

Harry walk back and Serenity had her turn. Serenity smiled when she saw that lilies are fill inside Snape's coffin. She put the lily in Snape's hand. She takes off her pointy hat and put it aside. She has nothing to say since she has said everything that she wants to tell Snape when he was alive. She put one of her hands onto Snape's hand and she lay her head on her father's chest.

Those who watch Serenity felt like shading a tear. No one says anything. They let Serenity take her time since she did not get to do the same during Dumbledor's funeral. After a long while, Serenity rise her head and kiss Snape's hand. She stands up straight and takes her hat. She takes one last look at her father and slowly back away toward Harry. With that, they lower Snape and others into the ground to be buried.

Rest in peace, Father.

The Great Hall is having a simple banquet for those who come for the funeral. Serenity sat with Hermione, Harry, Ron and the rest of the DA members. Here, Harry, Hermione and Ron talk about their journey before the war. Everyone listens with interest.

"You leave Hermione, just because the few nights before you saw Hermione and Harry walk together in the night, while Harry talk about Hermione's perfume?" say Serenity sternly, while shooting a dagger at Ron, ready to jinx his arse.

Everyone starts to laugh, including Harry and Hermione when Ron starts to turn purple.

"In... in my defence! I was not well! I'm injured and I was wearing the Horcrux necklace. But I come back!" said Ron panicking.

Serenity shakes her head slowly, still shooting a dagger at Ron.

"Are you sure you want to make a future with this troll, Hermione?" said Serenity, still not taking her eyes off Ron.

"I like Ron for his virtue and love him for his flaws"' says Hermione and holds Ron's hand firmly in hers.

Now Ron's face turns bright red and he smiles shyly. Everyone makes a wolf cry and some even tap Ron's shoulder teasingly.

"Oh, dear......... you know I'm always there for you Hermione" sarcasm Serenity, still looking at Ron.

"Really? You are Hermione's bestfriend and Harry's sister now. Can't you just give it a rest?" whined Ron.

Again everyone laughs. This time Serenity laugh as well.

"We shall see" say Serenity with an intimidating smile.

All of the teachers watch Harry, Hermione, Ron and Serenity from their seats with gentle smiles on their faces. No one was in a rush to go anywhere. Later, four of them walk around the school grounds.
