"Daigon Alley? Am I allowed to go there while school is still in session?" ask Serenity while putting bottles of potions into her handbag for Madam Pomphrey.
"Not if you're with me. I want you to wear something proper for the ball, and elegant too" answer Snape.
"Anything for you, father" smiled Serenity.
Snape smiled at Serenity's answer.
"Have you have a date for the ball?" asked Snape casually.
Serenity blink her eyes several times and look up at her father.
"I thought we should go together to the ball. This is actually the first Christmas eve that I get to celebrate with you, without the need to go to the haunted mansion" answered Serenity.
"Watch what you're saying, Serenity" smirk Snape when Serenity refer to Malfoy Manor as a haunted mansion.
"You rather that I dance with someone else father?" asked Serenity.
"This such event did not come often. It would be nice if you have a date to the ball instead of your old father" explain Snape.
"So as the opportunity to celebrate Christmas just with the two of us as father and daughter, even if it has to be here at Hogwarts" smiled Serenity.
Snape smile softly as he felt tender inside his heart.
"Did you have all that you need for Madam Pomphrey?" asked Snape.
"I'm all good" answered Serenity.
"Good. Off you go now" smiles Snape.

Serenity walks fast to the library from the hospital wing. She wanted to reach there as soon as possible since Hermione is waiting.
"Pozdravi Miss Snape. (Greeting Miss Snape)"
Serenity turn to her side and saw Krum, walking up to her with a few books in his hand. Now the buff man looks like a student.
"Pozdravi sur. Na kakvo dulzha udovolstvieto ot tvoya podaruk? (Greeting sir. What do I owe the pleasure of your present?)" answer Serenity politely.
"Nishto konkretno, gospozhitse. Na put sum kum bibliotekata. Nakude se nasochvash? (Nothing specific, miss. I am on my way to the library. Where are you heading?)" ask Krum.
"Az susho. Shte otidem li zaedno? (Me too. Shall we go together?)" offer Serenity.
"Udovolstvie e. (It's a pleasure)" smile Krum and gesture to Serenity to lead the way.
Serenity smile and walk on. Krum follows by walking by her side. Both of them talk as they walk. Of course all of the girls that they pass by shoot daggers at Serenity. As usual, Serenity pretends not to see it. The mood in the library lightens up when both of them walk in, mostly it is because of the World's Best Seeker.
"Hello, Hermione. I hope you don't mind that Mr Krum joins us" say Serenity as soon she saw Hermione, already starting with her study.
Hermione turns slight red as soon as she looks up from her book to Serenity. At the same time, Krum's expression softens as he looks at Hermione.
"Y..... yeah! Sure!" stutter Hermione and glue her eyes back to her book.
Serenity frowns at the way Hermione answer but she brushes it off. Serenity offer Krum to sit beside her and he agrees. As usual Serenity and Hermione will have a small discussion about what they learned in class that day. But instead, all Serenity got from Hermione is 'Yes' or 'No' each time she asks a question to begin their discussions of that day. Add to that, the Gryffindor only glance once in a while or sometimes Hermione did not look at her at all as she answers Serenity.
