"What is she doing here?" grunted Ron, seeing that Serenity is there with them going to see Hagrid.
Today is the last day for Buckbeak. No one bothers to answer Ron as everyone is preoccupied with what is going to happen. They slow down as they walk past the executioner, who is already there. To make matters even worst, Draco and his goons are there. All of them seem excited to see the Hyppogirf lose its head.
Hermione stormed toward Draco angrily and point her wand at his throat. Draco squeaked in fear.
"No Hermione. Let me" say Serenity, ready with her wand.
"Stop it you two! He's not worth it!" blow Ron.
Serenity felt annoyed but this time Ron is right. Draco is not worth it. Unwillingly, she keeps her wand and Hermione lowered hers. Harry pull Serenity back by her arms when Draco let out his arrogant smug. Still angry, Hermione turns back and punches Draco. Ron and Harry's jaws drop, while Serenity let out a cheer.
Draco runs away with his goons.
"You're incredible Hermione!" say Serenity and hugs Hermione.
Hermione giggles.
"That felt good" smiled Hermione, a genuine smile.
"Not good! Brilliant!" compliment Ron.
Harry smile happily. Then four of them run down to Hagrid's hut. Serenity let her heart sink as she looks at Buckbeak. She likes that Hippogriff.
"Come, Serenity" call out Hermione kindly, she knew Serenity is sad.
Slowly, Serenity turns to Hermione and walks into the hut. Harry is beside Hagrid.
"......Dumbledore say the is going to be here when they...... well! Great man Dumbledore" say Hagrid, holding back a tear.
"We stay with you too Hagrid," said Hermione and Serenity node her head eagerly.
"You do no such thing! Don't you be seeing something like that! No, you should be off. Oh! Before you go Ron" say Hagrid and take out Scabbers from the tin container.
"Scabbers! You're alive!" said Ron happily and takes the rat from Hagrid.
"You should take better care of your pet," said Hagrid.
"You owe someone an apology, Ron," said Hermione sternly.
"Yeah, next time I saw Crookshanks, I let you know," say Ron stubbornly pretending not to understand what Hermione said.
"I mean me!" blow Hermione angrily.
Everyone jumped when the vase near the window broke.
"Blimey!"
Hermione turns to the vase while at the same time Harry let out a painful gasp and put his hand to his head. Then he saw it, Dumbledore, Fudge and the executioner walking down the hill to them.
"Quickly! The back door" said Hagrid.
Hermione pulls Serenity with her while Ron walks ahead, holding Scabbers firmly in his hand.
"It will be alright Hagrid," say Harry and quickly follow his friends.
The four of them run and hide behind the giant pumpkins while the three men get into Hagrid's hut. Suddenly, Hermione turns back, looking towards the forest behind them.
"What is it?" ask Serenity in a whisper.
"I thought I saw....... Never mind" answer Hermione.
"Come on" say Ron and runoff.
