Beatrix's Point of View

Sitting on the long couch with my Benedetta beside me, holding a cup of tea on her left whilst my hand on the other.

I couldn't think straight, not because of how my girlfriend's affectionate towards me but due to the problem we are facing right now.

I watched Lunox walk back and forth in front of us. I can feel how stressed she is about the situation.

"Ilang araw na siyang nawawala?" I asked. Kanina pa kaming tahimik dahil walang may gustong bumasag doon kaya ako na ang nagmagandang-loob.

"NGAYON ANG PANGATLONG ARAW!" Kagura yelled worriedly, napasapo na lamang ako sa noo ko.

Nandito kami ngayon sa dorm ni Lunox para sana magkaroon ng quality time with the squad pero ito naman ang sumalubong sa akin. I just had my rest from all of my projects in Eruditio and may panibagong stress na naman.

"Maybe she has a fever or maybe injured.." said Lunox. I nodded at her, agreeing with what she have said.

"She's right," my girlfriend agreed with Lunox too. She caressed my hand, telling me to calm down. Ngumiti ako sa kanya.

"You guys know Guinevere. She doesn't care whether she's sick or not as long as she attends class." Vale finally spoke. He has been quiet for the whole time.

"Have you tried getting into House Baroque or ask about her whereabouts?"

"How?" si Lunox, "Kahit subukan man naming magpadala doon ng kuwago, it can't pass through the Academy's barrier."

May mga pagkain at juice sa mesa ngunit walang may balak na galawin iyon. Tila lahat kami ay hindi na nakaramdam ng gutom dahil sa pag-aalala. Kung ito ang pangatlong araw marahil tatlong araw na ring walang maayos na tulog itong tatlo.

"Kaya nga eh," Mas lalong nadagdagan ang pag-aalala sa mukha ni Kagura. "Anong sa palagay niyo ang nangyari sa babaeng 'yon? Bukod sa lagnat na hindi kapani-paniwala ay ano pa?"

"You remember the thing she told us? What if she.."

"Oh my freaking hell, Lunox!" Kagura exclaimed and stood up. Napatingin siya kay Lunox nang puno ng pag-alala. Naalarma rin si Vale.

"Ano 'yon? May hindi pa ba kayo nasasabi sa akin?" Tanong ko, mas lalong kinabahan. Base sa mga mukha nila ay tila mapanganib ang kanilang nalalaman.

Napatingin silang tatlo sa akin ng may pag-aalinlangan na lalong ikinataka ko.

"We don't have the right to tell you Bea.. let Guin do it herself." Saad ni Lunox na lalo kong ikinabahala. Seryoso nga iyon at hindi basta bastang impormasyon lang.

I slowly nodded. Hindi ko naman maaaring ipilit ang bagay na batid ko ay hindi nila maaaring sabihin sa akin.

"How can Guin tell her when she's nowhere to be found? Gosh! In all hells of Land of Dawn, where is she?!"

"Kag, you need to calm down."

"Lunox, how can I? Our bestfriend is missing!"

"I know, I know.. but this won't help us. We need to relax and think properly."

"You know relaxing isn't in my vocabulary-"

"Can you two please stop?!" Awat ni Vale sa dalawa. Kung hindi niya pa sila pinigil ay ako na sana ang gagawa.
