Chapter 22

I woke up to find myself laying on a bed.
I was used to that by now if you ask me. Whenever I fell unconscious, I always wake up in a different place.
I touched my head to see that it was bandaged but I do not feel an ounce of pain anymore.
Looks like my chance of getting into a coma was also gone. I mean, what was I even thinking?. I had literally fell off a thousand miles hill and I am still alive and breathing, so I don't expect a few hits on the head to do that now, do I?.
I tried to get down the bed but I hear a voice.
"Don't start moving this fast or you'll get dizzy" a lady's voice echoed.
"Who are you?" I asked.
"I am Golam, and I saved you from those guys two days ago, gosh, they are so disgusting, trying to take advantage of a teenager" she said.
She still hasn't turned around and so, I could only see her back. She was standing by a table and seemed to be working on something.
That was when I realized that the room looked more like a lap.
Wait a minute, was I in the hospital?, I thought.
"You also seem quite fascinating might I add, I've never seen a person heal so fast like you did and don't worry, they didn't get to penetrate you, it was just a scratch and lucky, your hymen is still intact" the lady said.
"What!" I screamed out.
I didn't even know I did so.
How could I still be a virgin even after that, no, that was just not possible, I thought.
"Calm down, I know it's rather scary, but you are lucky, I was on my night patrol and so, I helped you out" she said.
She didn't know that wasn't the thing I was worried about. I was worried about what happened days before. I was raped countless times by those three men and then I was still...
"Let me give you this injection, it would help calm you down" she said and turned to face me.
I let out a gruesome scream when I saw her face.
"Please, don't hurt me, I'm really sorry for escaping again, I would never do that again" I cried out for mercy for I know Spear won't spare me this time around.
"What happened?" she asked, confused.
His voice sounded just like a female's but I knew better than to believe him.
He/she moved forward to touch me but I pulled away.
"Spear, please don't hurt me" I begged.
I didn't know why, but she moved back.
"I'm not Spear but his sister, twin sister actually" she said, sitting besides me but I still moved away.
I was so confused as to what she said. I never knew that Spear had a sister. And does she really even know the Spear I was talking about?
"We were separated since birth, I live with maternal uncle now" she said.
After that, she told me all about her and what she used to know of Spear.
She said that he was such a good person before but living with his father and uncle, they have made him just like them.
She even told me how he used to come and visit them sometimes but has stopped coming for years now, probably the time he went for his world tour and then, he was busy hunting me now?.
"Look, I don't know what they did to you, I know Spear looks like a bad person to you but he is not, he is my twin brother and I know him, he won't harm you, at least not as long as you are here with us" she said.
"Would you please stay with us?" she asked, looking me straight in the eye.
Seeing a face that looks exactly like those monsters but only feminine, that was not something I was ready for but if this was the only place that I was safe, then so be it.
I nodded my head in affirmation.
She was so elated that I was staying back with them.
Seeing how happy she was, that made me happy as well. Trust me, it has been a long time since I felt such emotions.

For months, I stayed back with Spear's twin sister and her uncle and they had been so kind to me.
All has seem to go back to normal, well, except the fact that I always get the chills whenever I was set to look at her face, but I have already learnt to live with that.
But it seemed that I have spoken too soon once again.
For that day, I could remember clearly. I had gone out to take a stroll in the neighborhood and when I came back, I was met with ten huge cars parked outside and there were more than ten men stationed outside. I didn't need no one to tell me whom I would be meeting behind those walls and I was sure as hell not ready for that. I turned to flee, at least until they have finally decided to leave but Golam came out.
"Oh! There you are, I was wondering where you have went to all this while" she said.
Before I could answer, she pulled me in.
"You won't believe who came to visit" she cried out in excitement.
Well, it was pretty obvious.
"Spear" she said in excitement.
She was really happy that her brother was here.
But I don't think I was just about ready to face him once again. Who knows what he would do after that?.
But she didn't give me that choice as she pulled me in.
"Don't worry, he won't hurt you, he has changed a lot, you'll see that too" she said as she pulled me in.
He was seated on the couch when we walked in.
He looked up at us once again and he looked a bit surprised seeing me there, like he wasn't expecting that, but he was quick to mask it off.
Golam even took the initiative to introduce us once again. Maybe she thought that he had forgotten me or something.
"Actually, she told me that she has met you before, I don't know if you remember that?" she asks.
"She did?" he asked, eyeing me suspiciously, as if trying to configure what exactly I told his sister.
"Yes, maybe we might have met but I can't remember, maybe she is one of my fans?" he asked.
Fans my ass.
"Quite possibly" she said and smiled at both of us.
"Anyways, nice meeting you once again, miss keethana" he said and proceeded to touch me but I was quick to move away, hiding behind her.
I could still remember how much of a mess I become whenever I was touched by one of them.
"Don't be afraid, he won't hurt you, he is just trying to be friendly" she said and pulled me to the front.
"Why is miss keethana afraid of me?, I don't bite" he said, staring at me, intently.
I had no other choice but to extend my hands and shake his and just like I told you, the emotions were back. I quickly tried to pull away from him but he pulled me into a hug.
"This is not over" he whispered into my ear.
I had to force a smile on my face despite knowing I was in grave danger. And I was doing all that for his sister. She had offered me a home when I had none and she has also assured me that I won't be harmed with her around and so, I felt at ease for a bit.
After all the fake introduction, I was forced to have dinner with them which trust me was so uncomfortable as his eyes were on me all the time.
I didn't sleep in my own room that night, afraid that he might decide to hurt me during the night.
For a week, we stayed like that and could you imagine, Spear was so sweet to me all the time, like he was before.
I even started to believe that he has actually changed, that he was regretful of what he did.
I still didn't let down my guard you know. I made sure that whenever he is around, his sister was there as well.
One day, everyone was away, as they have all went out for shopping. Turned out, he was going back home tomorrow and seeing that he hadn't made any advances to take me away, I was relaxed.
How foolish was I to even believe that.
After they had left, I was sleeping in my room when I heard someone touching my face.
At first, I thought it was all it my mind but then it became prominent.
I jerked my eyes open and I saw his face. All the cute and gentle look was gone and now, only the monster in him remains.
I moved to get away put he had already pinned me down with his body.
"I told you this isn't over, didn't I?" he said in a think voice.
"Please" that was the only thing that I could muster to utter.
He laughed out and then forced more of his strength on me, almost crushing me.
I tried to push him away but damn, was he so heavy.
He just kept on staring at me.
He finally gets off me and stood up.
"It's so funny you know, how we have circled everywhere looking for you, I mean, we almost gave up, but only for you to turn out at my sister's doorstep, all this time, you were right under our nose" he started speaking.
"If I hadn't decided to visit her, I still wouldn't have found you yet" he continued.
He was talking softly but I could still hear the anger in his voice.
He turned to face me.
"Tell me, what exactly have we done to deserve your hatred, all we have ever done was love you, believe me, we love you so much to the extent that it hurts" he said.
Really, do they call this love. Well, if this is their love, then I don't even want to know what their hatred looks like.
"You... You are monsters" I cried out.
"Monsters, huh, that's all you see us as?" he asked, sounding hurt.
Well, I don't think there was a better person to answer this question for him than they themselves. But I did it anyways.
"Yes, all you ever do is create mayhem and destroy others and..."
"But we did it all for you" he cut me off.
"Believe me when I say that I would spare no life on earth, whoever dare to separate me from you, he would have to die" he said in a determined voice.
"Fuck!!!" He cursed and turned around.
Seeing that as an opportunity, I got up from the bed and tried to run away from the room.
"Keethana, I love you, we love you, without you, we are incomplete" but I wasn't listening to him for I was almost out the door.
But it seemed that I ran out of my luck as he saw me and pulled me back in and slammed me to the wall.
The wall behind me shook and I was sure some bones were dislocated as well.
"Don't you ever try to get away from me ever again, this is enough, WE'VE HAD ENOUGH" he growled at me.
"You are ours and that's how it is going to be, forever" he added.
"I don't belong to any of you" I fought back.
He pinned me more into the wall and placed his mouth on my neck and just like a blood thirsty vampire, he bit into my flesh, so hard that it broke.
I let out an agonizing scream by his assault.
"Let go of her, this instant" we heard his uncle's voice.
His maternal uncle.
"Help me" I cried out to the man.
"Spear, aren't you listening to me, let her go, When have you become such a monster?" he called out to him.
He stopped for a while and turned to face his uncle. His mouth was covered with my blood.
His uncle gasped at his appearance, even I did.
His uncle, as brave as he was, tried to come closer.
He tried to pull me away from him but he pushed him away.
"Don't you dare touch what's mine" he growled at him.
Goodness me. He really did look and was acting like a monster at that time.
"I thought that you were different, you are just like them, monsters, they had killed my sister and now you want to do the same for the poor girl, well, not on my watch" his uncle said and got up to fight him off or whatever.
"I've had enough of you old man" he said and he brought out a remote from his pocket and dialed in it.
Do you know how a balloon bursts when it had reached it's maximum capacity, well, that was how the poor man was blasted to and his chunk fell all over the room.
"AHHH!!!" I let out an agonizing scream.
