I jerked back to life with the horrible view in my dreams.
"Easy there" the lady taking care if me said.
"They are here, I could feel it" that was the first thing that came out of my mouth.
"Who are here?" The commissioner's voice echoed this time.
"They are here, they have found me" I cried out again.
This time, he seem to have gotten the message rather well.
"That is not possible, our security is impenetrable and we woul have gotten a warning if they were spotted Mike's away" he said, denying my fact.
Buy deep inside, he knew I was telling the truth.
"And they woul not dare, they knew they would be facing there death if they do so" he said.
But was it?.
They showed them just how dangerous they were by killing their high ranking officials.
"Relax, you need not worry about yourself, you are completely safe here with us" he tried to assure me.
But not long after, he was proven wrong.
For all of a sudden, all the radios and televisions in the camp were jammed and guess who's voice echoed.
Yes, Volodymyr's. I could never get their voices out of my head, no matter how hard I tried.
"G...g... good morning to you all" the announcement started in a scratch.
The commissioner looked over at me, as of trying to get assurance from me which I gave him by nodding.
He was a little taken aback but he composed himself and walked out. As for I, I just didn't have the strength to do so.
"We...we...are sure you have g...g... gotten our message by now" he continued.
"But we mean you no harm, that is of you would comply with us" he added.
There was a bit of silence for a few minutes and I was happy, thinking that they have finally managed to cut them out but then it came back again.
"We knew you would try to cut us out and so, we brought a plan b, which is actually much more better than the first channel" his voice echoed once again.
"First of all, it came to our notice that you have something of ours and we'd like to have it back and secondly, you should soon surrender to us for you know by now that we are far more powerful than you will ever be" he said in the most casual was ever.
"You have twenty four hours to comply or we'll be forced to take rash methods and you won't be liking that" Svaboda's voice echoed this time.
Who would have thought that a voice I had once looked forward to hearing all day had now turned into poison for my ears.
I closed my ears, trying to shut all the horrible things that they were trying to do to them if they didn't comply to their demands.
I mean, who would be so heartless as to tell a person just how he is going to die at his hands?.
After a while, it went all silent and I say there, shaking to my core.
While I was in that miserable state, the commissioner barged into the room, looking all furious.
The first thing that came to my mind was that he was going to murder me or send me back to them as it was impossible for me to die and I keep on forgetting that all the time.
"Please don't send me off to them" I begged, crying out loud.
He turned to look at me with a surprised look on his face how.
"Why would I send you back to them?" he asked.
Well, because they had asked?, I thought.
"You think I was afraid of their threat, never" he growled.
I felt a little bit relaxed but then I was remembered of the impending danger still ahead of us.
"What are we going to do with them now?" I asked.
Deep inside my guts, I knew that nothing could be able to stop them but I was still hopeful.
"We would prepare for battle, if it's war they want, we'll give them one" he said in a determined voice and that made me feel like he has something to use again them and in turn, making me feel at ease.
**********
Twenty-four hours had passed like the blink of an eye and true to their words, they had prepared for battle.
They had gathered all their most dangerous weapons and their strongest soldiers, waiting to conquer.
Soon, the cloud up in the sky rumbled, as if it was also ready for war which I was sure it was.
It was the most darkest cloud I've ever seen in my life and from the looks of it, it would be a huge down pour.
"They would soon contact us again and we'll try to lure them to us before taking them down" he said to his soldiers.
Soon, they were here but not in a way that was expected.
A huge air craft appeared in the air. It looked so huge that I thought it would be able to take on all the people in this Nation if need be.
It looked more like an out of the space air craft.
Even the soldiers were amazed by seeing such invention.
A huge hologram of the three horrible creatures appeared beneath the air craft/ space craft.
All three were wearing flawless suits, as if they were heading for an event or something.
And they still looked as dashing as ever but it still ached me whenever I remember the monsters behind all those masks.
"What is your verdict?" Spear was the one who spoke this time.
I could see the commissioner clenched his fist at their utmost disregard.
"私たちは死ぬが、あなたのモンスターを決してあきらめない (Watashitachi wa shinde shimaimasu Shikashi kesshite akiramenai Anata ni monsutā)" he screamed out in his mother's tongue. (We will die but never give up to you monsters).
"Ok then, suit yourself, and sweetheart, be sure to get a front row seat as to what is going to unfold" he said and smirked.
I felt that he was actually standing before me and that sent chills down my veins.
"攻撃 (Kōgeki)" the commissioner commanded as soon as their hologram disappeared. (Attack).
They did as they were ordered and soon, bombs and bullets were shot up to the sky and their own air crafts in the sky also launched their own attack.
It was like they were surrounded from all sides, and they had nowhere to go.
As I watched how they were ambushed and attacked, I felt a sense of relief envelope me. At least now I would be out of danger.
They kept on attacking and by the looks of it, they had the upper hand.
"誰がボスかわかるだろう(Dare ga bosu ka wakarudarou)" the commissioner said and laughed slyly. (That will show them who's the boss ).
I was also happy as well but, our little celebration was cut short when all of a sudden, their air craft started disappearing, as if it wasn't there but just a projection of it.
We all looked confused and were all wondering where they had went when all of a sudden, it started raining.
Just by the looks of it, it looked like a normal rain and it felt like that just by the way it was falling on me, but I could tell it was a little warm as well.
"Ahh!!!" I could hear people shouting before me and when I looked, I saw that they were all being dissolved. It was like the rain was melting their their body with each drop.
Even the commissioner looked like he was trying to hide away from the rain with his umbrella but it dissolved, like literally dissolved, even the metal handle did as well, melting his hand.
"それらのモンスター、彼らは私たちをだましました (Sorera no monsutā, Karera wa watashitachi o damashimashita)" he screamed in pain. (Those monsters, they tricked us).
He really did want to stop it but I didn't know how and so, right before my eyes, his clothes dissolved, then his skin and his flesh, down to his bones and he stood there in a puddle before me.
I could hear screams far.and wide, even far away from the military camp but there was nothing I could do as I just watched them dissolve.
Soon, I felt myself become light headed and the next thing I knew, I was on the ground, falling with a thud.
**********
Slowly, I opened my eyes and closed them back again. I did that for a second time.
At first, I was wondering where I was and then it hit me like a huge brick.
I quickly got up from the ground and instead of seeing corpses, I only saw a puddle of goos and the worst thing was that I was laying deep in it and I was covered in their blood as well as their flesh.
I got up from the ground, screaming in terror.
I just couldn't believe that I was actually laying in a puddle of dead people and not just that, even the buildings did not make it and the place has turned it a barren field of dead goos.
I almost lost my mind.at that time but when I remembered the impending danger ahead of me, I braced myself once again.
Without look down once again so as not to feel guilty about what had happened to them, I dialled on my transporter.
Soon, everything went blank once again as I was pulled away into the matrix of time.
