Louis: I met her at the beach (as we had decided just yesturday) and saw her standing by the waves walking slowly through the wake. I walked up behind her and put my hand lightly on her shoulder. She jumped in suprise. "Hey," I said once she realized it was me.

"Hey," she said, "Sorry you scared me."

"Were you expecting someone else?" I asked laughing. She took a breath and opened her mouth like she was going to say something only to get a look on her face like she didn't know what to say. She shook her.

"There's no one to expect. My parents are out at dinner so I guess not," Sarah said, rambling. I smiled but couldn't help noticing the weirdness in her voice. Probably nothing. "So what creative thing should we do first," Sarah asked, nudging me with her shoulder.

"Hmm," I said, putting my finger to my chin in a mock thinking face. Sarah laughed at my silly face, "Well, your parents idea of getting something to eat was a good idea."

"Okay. Your the expert. Where should we go," Sarah asked, shrugging. I thought for a second.

"The Blue Lagoon. Best place in town," I answered. Sarah nodded and we set off.

Sarah: "And so I say to this girl 'Well I'm with the band' and she goes 'well so is my boyfriend'. So here I am hitting on my best friend's girlfriend without even knowing," Louis said. We laughed. He was amazing. We had been sitting at the table at the Blue Lagoon long past we should've and every thing he said made me laugh. Of course I had to keep reminding myself this was just sometime together with to friends. It seemed, in the slightest of ways, he might be doing the same. He sipped his Coke and looked at me. "Okay," he said, putting his drink down on the table, "Your turn."

"Hmm," I said, "I guess I don't really have any good stories."

"Not about that," Louis said, laughing, "For ideas of what to do."

"Oh," I said. Dang, I thought. I thought for a while. Louis's eyes stayed planted on mine, which didn't help much. "Um, well the beach, uh, could have something," I said.

"Okay. Lets go see," Louis said. We got up and left.

Once we reached the beach, I immediately ditched my flip flops and felt the sand seep between my toes. "Hey, fallow me," Louis said, grabbing my hand. I tried not to show my excitement at the gesture. I probably didn't do that good of a job. He led me right up to the waves. They were high due to the late-ish time. He kicked off his shoes and ran into the water. He went out about knee deep before raising his arms in the air and screaming out, "Release the Cracken!" I laughed. "Come on!" he said, gesturing for me to come forward. I walked slowly forward. "Try it. Just scream out anything," he said.

"Um, realese the Cracken?!" I yelled, although it was quiet for a yell and placed in the form of a question. Louis gave me a look that said "Come on. Really?"

"You can't copy," he said.

"Fine. I welcome the summer!" I yelled, still quiet but Louis shrugged, which must have meant it was better.

"You'll get better," he said. I smiled. A wave rolled in, nearly knocking me into the water all the way. Louis laughed. "Kluts," he snickered. I narrowed my eyes. I ran overr and pushed him. He stumbled backwards before falling all the way in.

"Kluts," I repeated, laughing. Louis stood up and stumbled forward, pushing me. I fell in. We continued to fight in the water, splashing and pushing. Eventually our outfits were so soaked I'm sure it looked like my tank top was about to reveal things no man should see on the first date. I was having fun.
