Sarah: It only took me until the next day to run into him again. At the beach, surprise surprise. Same thing happened pretty much. I was sitting in the tide when Louis sat down next to me. "So we meet again," he said in a voice that suggested suspense.

"It's kind of a public beach," I said, smirking.

"I know. It's just fun to build the suspense. Duh!" Louis said. I laughed.

"Of course," I said. I could see satisfaction playing in Louis's eyes.

"So anything new since last time I saw you?" Louis asked, a smile playing on his lips, which appeared stained by the slushie he held in his hand.

"Um, my parents came to the beach today," I said, pointing to my parents on the beach blanket whom were both laying unmoving. Knowing my father, he was asleep on the beach blanket, but my mother waved in that embarrassing way parents do when I pointed toward them. Louis waved back.

"They seem nice," Louis said politly.

"I suppose they are. I mean I still hold a grudge on them for..." I trailed off. My parents had grounded me a few days before the incedent. They had held strong to continuing my grounding even afterward.

"Grounding you? Telling you you weren't allowed allowance for a month after you blew the last stuff on a boyfriend they didn't know you had? Telling you they didn't want you going to your friends party?" Louis guessed. I laughed.

"That second one was very detailed. Do I hear a story on the rise?" I asked.

"Nope," Louis laughed. I put my lip out in a supposedly cute pout. Louis laughed and said, "It was embarassing enough the first time. I don't want to relive it."

"I see," I said.

"So what kind of girl are you?" Louis blurted. If I didn't know any better I would have said he was scounting me out to see if I was his type.

"Um, I don't know. A good girl who can get wild ammongst the right people?" I said. Emily! I heard the scream in my ears again.

"I see. Who fits this right people type?" Louis asked.

"The people I trust not to put it on Facebook," I smirked. Louis smiled.

"Would I fit that type?" Louis asked.

"Hold your horses, bro," I said, laughing. I hadn't aparently known better.

"I'm just curious," Louis said, laughing with me.

"Well wait until we actually know eachother," I said, laughing.

"Okay," Louis said in mock annoyance.

"So out of curiousity what does a person do around here?" I asked.

"Um, hang out at the beach, jump off the cliffs over there," Louis said, "I suppose there's some festivals that happen later. Fourth of July has fireworks."

"Okay. So its all a matter of how creative you are," I said.

"Exactly," Louis said. I smiled and looked down at the sand.

"Maybe sometime we should see how creative we are together," I said. Louis grinned.

"Okay. When is sometime exactly?" he asked.

"How about Friday night?" I asked. He nodded and smiled.

"We could meet here for details tomorrow?" he asked.

"Sounds like a plan," I said, nodding.

"Okay," Louis said. He seemed very happy. We continued to talk, but a small part of me was already planning for Friday.
