Louis: Sarah and I were in her room. Everything was packed up in boxes except for her laptop, camera, mattress, and an outfit for tomorrow. It was 8:00 on the 18th of August. It was Sarah's last night in Sennen Cove. Our last night.

"So what do you want to do?" Sarah asked, not smiling the way she usually did. I nudged her.

"Hey," I said, smiling, "We still have tonight."

"Yeah," Sarah said, her voice still sad, "Tonight."

"Come on," I said, "Lets do something."

"Okay," Sarah said, "Lets do something."

"Okay," I looked at the clock, "I have an idea. You change into your swimsuit."

We were on the beach. I pointed to a spot in the wake, "Sit right there." Sarah gave me a sideways look but didn't ask any questions. I sat down 10 feet from her. Then Sarah caught on.

"You into surfing?" she asked, not taking her gaze off the waves.

"Um sure," I said.

"Um sure? Is that supposed to mean something," she asked, laughing.

"Um sure?" I said. Sarah laughed. That night, we reapeated our first few days, word for word. Move for move. Blink for blink. It was long after the sun had set and I was splashing her just the way we did on our first date. I saw Sarah yawned. It was probably long past 1:00 am. I walked her home, feeling as though my heart was in my feet. I walked slower than usual. Sarah had that same sad look in her eye.

"Louis?" Sarah said, breathing quietly out her mouth.

"Yeah?" I asked.

"Can you do me a favor?" she asked.

"Absolutly anything," I told her. It was true. I would do anything for her. I loved her. I loved her with all my heart, mind, and spirit.

"Louis," Sarah said, her breath shaky, "Don't come tomorrow."

"What?" I asked. Sarah was quiet for a second, "Why?"

"I just want to get it over with. I don't want to have to deal with, um, this tomorrow," Sarah said, tears filling in her eyes. I felt her press something into my palm. A flashdrive. "It's all of our movies," she said.

"Oh," I said, "Please. I want more time."

"What's the difference. The hour we'll have tomorrow. Louis, if we do it now we can be better in the morning. You can go on with the last few days of being here, and I can move without having to worry about how our story ended," Sarah said. I bit my lip.

"I can't," I whispered, afriad if I was any louder I'd start crying.

"Please Louis. For me," Sarah whispered.

"No," I said.

"Please Louis," Sarah whispered.

"Please," I pleaded. We were at her house now.

"Goodbye Louis," Sarah said, kissing me. I kissed her with all my love in my body. She pulled away, "I love you." Then she walked away. She didn't even hear me whisper "I love you too." I turned into the night. I had bever felt something more final. And I hoped she didn't see me cry as I walked into the darkness.
