Morning came by, Athanasia decided to visit his brother's palace with Felix. Felix proposed to let the princess visit her brother to bond more after what happened yesterday thinking of ways to make the young prince feel better.

As they pass by the long corridor, the maids doing their work could not help but to look at them with indifference which made Athanasia feel weird and scared clutching Felix's clothe tightly

"Miss Xifeng, may I know where his highness is right now?" Felix asked

"His highness is most certainly at his music room to relax his mind sir Robane" Xifeng inform him bidding her farewell she went out to do her work.

'What a beauty' Athanasia complimented

Arriving at the music room there they saw Darcio standing in front of the door

"Darcio is his highness Adrastos there? Princess Athanasia wants to spend time with his brother" Felix stated putting Athanasia gently while Darcio look down at Athanasia with no emotion visible making her sweat drop

'As far as I remember I didn't do anything for the workers in this palace to be annoyed at me' She thought remembering whether she did something that might offended the people here

"Who told the emperor?" was what Adrastos asked after tending his bruise and now looking at the people with betrayal. Eyes filled with pain and fury

"It was all perfect, I got to know the people's current concern and at the same time help them without the emperor finding out. Everything was going as I planned and yet it was ruined just like that" He shouted making the people flinch

It was normal for them to see the prince throw a tantrum or let his anger out almost destroying the palace but his anger right now could not be compared to any other.

He was enraged.

He is tired, tired of pleasing his father and tired of giving his father the love he doesn't deserve

'I realize it now; how stupid I am'

'Why do I have to live like this?'

'From the day I was born till the day I die; he will never acknowledge all my hard works.'

'Why? Why? Why?'

His thoughts were cut off by Xifeng

"I believe that Princess Athanasia saw you earlier on the carriage your highness, I do saw them passing by every time they go to his majesty's palace" She explained while holding both her hand

"Are you certain Xifeng?"

"Most certain"

"That girl always ruin everything! My plan on improving the empire on my own was perfect yet that... that insolence has to ruin my glorious plan!" Adrastos roared clenching his fist trying to control and not unconsciously release his mana and harm his people.

They all watch him break down, cry saying about his plan for the empire making it a better place crumble before him, the maids and knights went to his side to hug him and words of comfort surrounds him

"I am tired already just please let me end this suffering all at once"
