Adrastos was only 3 years old when he was declared as the crown prince after his father, Emperor Claude de Alger Obelia has ascended to the throne.

He was loved by everyone inside and outside of the palace for his adorable and admirable personality and even at such a young age he had shown his intelligence, some say he took after his father while some say he was a born prodigy.

He is adored by many, yet he hasn't felt the love of his father whom he admired so dearly.

"Father! I am here!" Adrastos said running to hug his father but was stopped by his father's demanding voice.

"How many times do I have to tell you to act according to your status and stop calling me father Adrastos, it is only early in the morning and yet you're already giving me a headache" Claude said glaring at his son who cowered in fear, head down while holding the hem of his shirt to stop himself from crying.

"But you're my father" He muttered sadly

"What is it that you want? I am busy"

"I have finished my lessons father; the tutors dismissed me earlier" Adrastos said looking down wiping down the tears that was able to escape from his eyes.

"Shedding tears will only do you nothing Adrastos, as the crown prince you shouldn't show any weakness." Claude said sternly losing his grip on Adrastos collar, letting him down harshly making Adrastos lose a bit of his balance.

"Blessings and glory to the sun of Obelia" Felix greeted not noticing the young prince with a hurt look on the child's face for his father's recent action, "Your majesty, Lady Diana has asked for your presence to join her for tea"

Claude didn't say anything but gestured his son to follow him making Adrastos happy, almost letting out a giggle resulting Felix to notice him

"Blessing and glory to the future sun of Obelia, Your highness Adrastos !"

"Sir Felix! How are you doing to this fine day?" He asked his sad expression before was replaced by a big smile.

"My day is fine as usual your highness, thank you for asking" Felix said smiling wildly at the cute child in front of him as they chatted along the way until they reached the garden where Adrastos saw a blonde woman sitting there, smiling looking at the flowers around the garden.

"Claude it's nice that you accepted my request! My, who is this child?" Diana asked looking curiously at Adrastos who went behind Felix.

'Why is this woman not addressing my father right?' Adrastos thought, as his eyes wander on the woman who is currently hugging his father.

"Adrastos come here and introduce yourself" Claude ordered him which he complied

"Greetings, I am crowned prince Adrastos Nicoli de Alger Obelia" He said curtly bowing

"Adrastos, this is Diana, she is my lover and I want you to treat her like your own mother" Claude introduces the woman beside him making the young prince stuck on his place as he paled as he heard the words that came out on his father's mouth.

'A future mother?!'

Although Adrastos did not have the chance to meet and be loved by his mother, he knows that his mother is important on his life and cannot be replaced, this revelation could never be expected by him. He did once crave and wonder about the feeling of experiencing a mother's love, but this news cannot be processed in his mind

"Mother?" Adrastos asked tilting his head, seemingly out of daze as he stares at the smiling woman before him who knelt down and hold his little hands.

"Nice to meet you dear"

Adrastos did not look at the woman instead he stared at his father waiting for his answer

Claude only nod at him but the next bomb that drop made him explode for no reason

"She is currently carrying your little sister, don't cause trouble"

He wanted to shout but nothing came out so he solemnly excused himself and went to his chamber.

'A little sister? Why...'
