The village is lively, filled by a lot of people performing, selling and even gossiping making the young prince, Adrastos irritated.

"Come on Adrastos smile! This is your special day so be more joyful" Kyrell urge him making him grumble under his breath while rubbing his forehead making their other companion laugh at Kyrell's enthusiasm and beside him was their irritated crown prince.

They're opposite, totally different from many aspects and the only thing they have in common is where they kill their enemy. Kyrell is the literal definition of a ray of sunshine while Adrastos was silent and calm but whenever the two was in the battlefield, they were like two peas in a pond, partner in crime.

'Merciless' was what other describe them whenever they witness the two on how they brutally interrogate or kill their enemy.

Kyrell was still bothering the now visibly annoyed Adrastos looking away at him when someone bump into him

"I'm sorry, I am in a hurry and I am not looking where I was going, please forgive me!" A green haired girl apologized while bowing her head too low as she spouted more apology

"Stop." Adrastos commanded, his voice was clearly showing his irritation which stopped the girl from uttering another word, "What had you gotten in a hurry that you decided to bump into me?"

"I truly apologize I was in the forest to collect some herbs when I realize I am late on doing my chores on our house that is why I rushed" The girl explained making Adrastos just hum in return

"Are you that rushed that you forgot who I am?"

"I'm sorry but I do not kno--" Her voice was stocked on her throat as she finally looks at the man, she bumped into with an annoyed expression painted on his face.

"Your highness!" She exclaimed getting on her knees as she asked again for forgiveness

"Tsk. Who are you"

"I am Kanna Hearst, your highness" The girl named Kanna introduced herself with closed eyes and trembling hand

"Hmp"

She is expecting more insult to come but when she opened her eyes, she was met by nothing but the other knights walking past her looking at her in either disgust or pity, she was after all a commoner who happen to bump on the crown prince.

'I better hurry and do my chores so I can finish mixing the herbs that I picked" She thought running once more towards her home

It was already late at night as the knights already went to their tent to sleep while some left for look out. There was Adrastos playing chess all by himself on his tent.

He was about to move his bishop when he felt a presence is coming in his way at a rapid rate, but before the attacker could hit him, he skillfully dodged the knife that is about to stab him. The knife grazed his cheeks creating a small wound and small amount of blood come out.

"So, the rumors are somewhat true, you're sharp" The unknown man commented as Adrastos clenched his jaw, staring at the man in front of him.

"Such disturbances, who send you?" Adrastos glared at the man who took of his mask as he look at him lazily

"Khaos Zagreus Cormac at your service" He introduce himself placing his right hand at his chest as he walks closer to Adrastos and lean down as he hold the latter's chin and smirk at him staring at the wide jeweled eyes of Adrastos with his droopy pale purple eyes

Khaos licked Adrastos wounded cheeks smirking and clearly liking the young prince smell.
