Flashback:

As soon as the music ends Athanasia quickly excused herself and went to find her father. While Adrastos, he immediately left and transported himself to Lixieng's abode.

"Dad, are we proceeding to the plan?"

"Of course, son, just a little more time"

Lixieng assured Adrastos who only smiled at him

"Only a little more time my son and you will soon reach the divinity and become a God"

Time skip (Audience Room)

"Let it all out my son, tell them your pain for it helps you to calm and forget your past. The bruises and scars he gave you may come to him tenfold" Lixieng whispered in to his ear in a calming manner as the next words made Adrastos smiled menacingly while looking down

"Have a reason to leave this place. Kill this clone of yours and I'll meet you at my palace" Lixieng said at 'Adrastos' making the latter nod and soon started the drama

"Your clone deserves an award, should've seen the horrified and crestfallen look of your father and sister" Khaos said laughing and slapping the back if Adrastos who only smirk at him

"He is my clone; he is amazing as me. I created him after all" Adrastos stated with smug evident in him.

Adrastos wondered and was again deep in thought unconsciously spilling his thoughts, "I didn't know that in order to become a great being with divinity, you need to proceed to many rituals and even go to the extent of people mourning over your inevitable death"

"Human can ascend on being a God if they wanted to. Your way to become a God was different. We have to let people bless and pray for your soul in order for you to become a God that is why i needed you to make your people believe that you have passed away" Lixieng explained

"Although seeing my former empire mourn for my death was interesting i cannot help but to worry about my trusted people. They're after all useful"

"Do not fret my son for i told some of your trusted people who worked for you about what really happened and as we speak, they've left the palace and was now headed in here in order to serve you again" Lixieng informed Adrastos who sigh in relief

Adrastos then turned to look at his reflection on the mirror, him turning into a powerful being really change him, from the way the overwhelming power he felt and how his transformation really affected his physical appearance.

The once dull brown hair with a bit of blonde became more vibrant and as he tries using one of his mana, his hair along with the marks around his body glows. His eye didn't change along with his skin color.

He was amazed, this new appearance of him became Godlier and how it really brings more of his charisma. He was undeniably gorgeous, as people might say he looks more ethereal than ever.

Thoughts was once again occupied his mind thinking all his future plan.

"Why do you still want to give them revenge when them seeing you lifeless was already a trauma to them. What the fuck Adi, I thought you really died" a voice suddenly was heard by the veranda near them

By the voice he already guessed who was trespassing and invading their private conversation so as soon as he looks at that person the person pained look didn't surprised him.

Kyrell was speechless with the revelation, the time when he was notified that the Adrastos servants have filed for resignation and is planning to fled to the Zixuan Empire he speculates that something is out of place.

He followed the carriage that the Zixuan Archon rode without actually trying nit to be noticed. Unfortunately, the archon knew of his plan but let him be.

"Why? Why did you do that? To leave and betrayed the empire you love and you protected?!" Kyrell cannot contain his emotion his any longer as rage filled him

"I did protect it. I saved the Obelia Empire by wiping out all the dirt's that is seen on that wretched empire. i did everything to please everyone Kyrell... But did they protect me? Did they save me in the hands of my abusive father?!" Adrastos is aware that his patience is running thin, the more Kyrell shouts at him he grew more angry every minute.

"That is because you never once called for our help! You are prideful that even asking us to save you was hard!" Kyrell retort to him, his words that left his mouth was never noticed. He wanted to let his anger out

"Do I still need to ask any of you to save me even if you are already aware with the pain i have felt? I didn't ask for anyone to save me because i thought some of you are already aware with the unbearable pain that i have" Adrastos said glaring at the now silent Kyrell

"I never ask and seek for it because i am very well aware that people will turn into a blind eye. You are there to save them, be their knight and shining armor but when you were the one who needed them the most they will disappear like a bubble" He added looking down as he continues, "So don't question me why i grew tired of being a slave to my people. I never once felt free with those chains that binds me to my duty. I have exceeded all the expectations those nobles want, and yet those attempts were futile to make my father see me as his child."

As Adrastos said those words he left the area with Khaos. Lixieng look at the silent former comrade of his son

"Once you will know and felt what he truly feels, you will understand that the empire he once love had abandoned and turn into a blind eye for his father's painful behavior towards him. His actions are far more than enough to justify his reasoning" Lixieng said

"If you are already known of this one then please remember that villains weren't born evil, the people that surrounds him was the one who created him and woke up the grief and rage of his deep emotion."

Soon enough Kyrell was all alone in the big room rethinking all the memories and the words of the Archon had said as he didn't notice how tears fall on his eyes.

'I am sorry for not saving you earlier Adrastos, please come back'
