Winona stands outside of the small apartment complex in Stars Hollow, a letter in her hand. Slowly, she begins to walk up the stairs of the complex, and finally knocking on the dark brown door.

The door opens, a young girl who is the same age as Winona standing in front of her, "Are you Lindsey?"

"Yes, who are you?"

"I'm Winona Gilmore."

"Gilmore?"

Winona nods and looks down, now adjusting her jean jacket out of nerves, "Yes, I'm Rory's sister." Lindsey gives her an awkward smile, "What do you need?"

"May I come in for a moment?"

Slowly the door opens some more and Lindsey moves to the side. The apartment is small but nice, flower patterns throughout the place.

A sweet smell runs throughout the home. Winona walks in, an awkward feeling immediately forming. Slowly she walks over to the small loveseat and sits down.

Opening her purse, she pulls out a letter, and holds it out to Lindsey, "You should read this."

Lindsey, skeptically, takes the letter and begins to read it, tears slowly starting to form in her eyes as she processes what she is reading, "How- how did you get this?"

"I overheard my mother and Rory talking at the inn when Rory was giving her the letter."

"They-?"

Winona nods and stands up, adjusting her jean jacket, "If you want me to leave and never want to see my face again, I completely understand."

The blonde girl just stands there, staring straight at Winona. But no sadness resides on her face, but rather anger. Quickly, as if Winona blinked her eye, Lindsey starts to scream. Not scream as in letting out an emotion, but rather screaming at Dean who isn't even there.

"You son of a bitch! I helped you through your breakup! Through the millions of jobs you just had to take on! Never letting me do anything of my own!" She then turns back to Winona (as she had been pacing the room when yelling), "Did you know he wouldn't let me see any of my friends? Not just guy friends! All of them!"

"Apparently Rory hurt him so much that he couldn't trust me around people! But oh no! Apparently he can go and sleep with his fucking ex! That bitch!"

And then... it's just quiet.

And slowly, Lindsey sinks to the floor, the letter finally falling from her hand, "He cheated on me. He actually cheated on me."

Winona slowly sits down against the couch, sitting across from the heartbroken girl, "I know it may not mean anything, and you may hate me because of her, but I promise that I truly am so sorry. If I had known that Dean and Rory were planning on that, or were even going to speak to one-another, I would have done my best to stop it."

Lindsey just nods, and then reached forward, pulling the brunette into a hug, "Thank you for giving me this. If I'd never gotten it, I probably would've never found out."

Winona gives her a small smile as she pulls back from the hug, "Us girls got to stick together, right?"

Lindsey gives her a heartbroken smile before laying her head on her shoulder, "I need to talk to Dean."

Winona got home later that night to find Lorelai sitting on the front porch. Immediately, Lorelai jumped up and ran over to Winona, "Do you know where it is?"

"Where what is?"

"The letter! The letter Rory entrusted me to give to Dean!" She shakes her head as if this is such a big issue, "I was going to give it to him today when I went grocery shopping but couldn't find it in my bag."

Winona pushed past her and starts walking into her room, Lorelai following, "I gave it to Lindsey."

A deafening silence enters the room. Winona stands at her dresser, looking through the mirror to her mother who is starring at her mouth wide open. Slowly Winona looks down and starts to take off her jewelry, placing it in its respective place.

"You did what?"

"I gave it to Lindsey. That's where I just came back from. After a two hour crying session we went to Al's Pancake House and had some sushi. Not very good by the way, but apparently it's her comfort food."

Lorelai turns the girl around, her hands on her shoulders, "Why the hell would you do that?" Winona chuckles at her mom's oblivious and obvious favoritism, "Rory slept with a married man. A man who's wife is on of the sweetest people ever. Even if she was rude and bitchy, I still would've given it to her. You want to know why?"

Lorelai stares at her dumbfounded, "Why?! Why would you do something so stupid!"

"Because I have fucking morals! And I" aggressively, Winona pushes Lorelai back, and turns back around, "can see right from fucking wrong mother."

"Rory is going to be so mad."

"Who fucking cares mom! Rory's a grown adult! A grown adult who is now a mistress and home-wrecker, so I don't really care how mad she's going to be. Haven't cared for a while."

She turns back around, "Now, can you please leave my room so I could get changed and facetime Logan?"

Lorelai still stares at her dumbfounded but eventually leaves the room. With a roll of the eyes, Winona turns towards her dresser, again, and grabs her pajamas, "Lord give me mercy because I swear if I hear one complaint from Rory, I'm going to kill her."

I honestly kind of hate this chapter but also love it so... let me know know how you feel! The next chapter should be out on Thursday, probably around this late at night (for me at least) just because of school!

I hope you all liked this chapter and like the up-and-coming Winona, I mean she's not that different but she's definitely not taking any more bullshit, especially Rory's!
