Since school started, she's been so busy that the last time I saw her was two months ago. It was torture not being able to see, hug, or kiss her for that long. I led her inside the house, and she stopped as we entered the main area that connected the living room, kitchen, and foyer. She stopped walking, taking in a whiff of fresh air and exhaling.
"It's so good to be back," she said with a sigh, looking around with a pleased and excited look.
"I still can't believe you're here." I laughed, shaking my head and blinking, waiting to see if she'd go away. She took a step towards me, grabbing my face and kissing me.
"Does that convince you more?" she asked as we parted, giving me a smirk that did crazy things to my insides, feelings I didn't know she was capable of giving me.
She was my innocent little Genevieve. Sure, I was attracted not only to her personality but to her body as well. It wouldn't be a good relationship if I weren't attracted to every invisible and visible part of her. I, of course, wanted things between us to progress sexually, but it was clear she didn't want the same thing. The topic came up one day while she was here a few months ago, the time when couples would normally consummate their relationship, and she mentioned that she wasn't ready for that. She didn't give a time frame for when she would be, but I supposed she didn't know. I didn't want to pressure her into something she wasn't ready for since she seemed adamant about waiting until she was ready, but it was often really hard when she'd walk around in skirts or yoga pants that were just a bit too tight for me to handle. I figured something must've happened for her to be so set on sticking to her gut. I knew that she knew that nothing like that would ever happen with me, but I think the fear was still there.
I blinked a few times, shaking my head.
"You're really testing me, aren't you?" I asked in a shaky tone, my eyes avoiding hers.
