Camila

I survived my first night here, and now it's time for my first full day here.

I groan getting up out of bed and shuffle to my bathroom. I look at myself in the mirror and raise my eyebrows at my reflection.

"Ew." I simply say to myself. I decided on starting my day off by showering and picked out my outfit.

I should probably look nice today, cause I don't want the Wilkinson's to think of me as a slob.

Sam

"But mom, why can't I move in with my friends?"

"Sam, you don't need to be jumping into things that you haven't fully thought through." My mom said making breakfast.

"We have it all thought through, the Jacks and Nate already found the house and have everything worked out and-"

"How are you going to pay for the bills Sam? You don't have a job." I shrugged, "Then I'll get one, I can do some work for grandpa-"

"I don't know if that's the best idea Sam, you don't have the schooling for half the jobs there-"

"Mom, I can find a job it's not that hard." She raised her brow at me and I did back mocking her. She smiled and shook her head at me.

"I will discus it with your father but it's not a no, or a yes so don't get your hopes up." She handed me a plate of pancakes and I began eating.

"Mom, how long is Camila staying with us?" She kept her back towards me and kept making more pancakes. "A couple of months, and I want you to be nice to her. She's had a lot going on lately."

"But-but what does she even have here? She doesn't have any friends." I whispered to make sure she didn't hear me from upstairs.

She turned around and frowned at me.

"You can introduce her to some of yours, I want you to treat her with respect and make sure she has a good summer here. She needs it, remember?"

I shook my head at her, I don't even know why Camilla is here honestly. Doesn't she have friends or family?

Like, we aren't even related.

"Sam, you know what I'm talking about now don't bring it up to her. We want her to have fun, not mourn."

I furrowed my brows at her, "Mourn about what?" She opened her moth to speak but closed it and turned back around.

"Mom-"

"Stop." She put her hand up with her back still facing me. I quietly went back to eating and heard footsteps down the stairs.

I heard shoes click on our marble floors and the footsteps grew louder. Camila appeared in the kitchen with her hands held together in front of her.

She almost reminds me of a little girl. A sweet, quiet one. I smiled to myself at the thought at when we first met in elementary school.

"You can sit down, you know." I smiled at her, she was wearing a black skirt and grey crop top with heels. She gave me a smile without showing her teeth and climbed up on the stool next to me.

She still is very pretty. "Would you like some pancakes Camila?" My mom asked with a smile. She's so Beverly Hills housewife, just looking at her right now.

Her hair pulled back in a tight bun with a pearl necklace and a dress. She's so generous too, like that's probably why Camila is here.

My mom probably offered her and all this stuff. I don't really want to spend the day with Camila, I have plans with the guys and she wouldn't probably be up for any of it.
