"Dude, you gotta stop staring at her empty room.....she's gone now." Johnson said.

I quickly looked away, still standing in her doorframe.

"I never meant to hurt her." I sighed.

"It's been two months since all that happened, why can't you just call her?"

"She doesn't answer."

"Maybe she just-"

"She doesn't want anything to do with me now Johnson, God. She even sent Beau here to collect her things from her room because she didn't want to see me."

"Maybe she was just busy-"

"She wasn't busy Johnson, she hasn't stepped a foot in this house since I fucking screwed up."

"Maybe she just wants an apology-"

"Enough with the 'maybes' I've tried everything. Calls, texts, voicemails.....I even went over to Beau's house since Sam told me she was staying there until her flight left and Beau answered the door saying she's busy."

"You think they've got something going on?"

"I don't even want to know."

"Wait, so she's been in contact with Sam but not you?"

"I guess." I shrugged.

"He basically attacked her and she forgave him, she has to forgive you."

"But it wasn't like the two of them were in love....they were just friends."

"She's back in LA you know....living with the rest of her girl group."

"I miss her. I feel like I'm missing this huge part of me and I'm just empty." I confessed.

"Then you never should have laid a hand on her like that-"

"I didn't know what I was doing! I wasn't thinking!" I yelled.

Silence filled the hallway and Johnson just shook his head at me.

"Stop feeling sorry for yourself and fucking apologize in person."

"I've tried-"

"Obviously not good enough," he cut me off. "Look, there's a party tonight and I know for a fact Fifth Harmony will be there. Come with me tonight and make things right."

Cause you're cold and I burn, I guess I'll never learn.

I kept thinking the lyrics over, and over. I couldn't shake the words out of my head and I just shook my head and went back to straightening my hair.

"Are you almost ready?" Lauren asked, I just nodded and looked at myself in the mirror.

"God, I look like shit." I sighed.

"No you don't, you look great." Lauren smiled.

"Thanks." I barely smiled back.

She left me alone and I just kept staring at myself.

What if I see him tonight?

Shit.

"What are you thinking about?" Lauren asked me.

"Beau." I replied.

"What about your ex boyfriend...what's his name?"

"Jack." I mumbled.

"Oh, I'd be more concerned seeing my ex than my almost boyfriend." She shrugged.
