~Aya POV~
Everyone has been acting really weird. Including Ayoka and Alan. They are all....nicer? Ayoka just glares at them when I get irritated and writes something. Anyway yesterday we arrived at Crystaline. It is simply put... beautiful! Crystal waters, white beaches, and lush grass. It's like a fairy tail come to life. However. According to Captain it is also the most dangerous island. Pirates often come and steal or kill the locals. Even keep them as slaves. It makes my blood boil. I want to help them but we can't do much so we have to just mind our own business as much as it pains me. According to Captain there are 5 trials in order to pass and get the treasures. He doesn't exactly know the details but it supposedly not that easy.~Le TimeSkip brought to you by Tsun Fantasy~
Ayoka gave a small cough as we walked into the cave. I had to admit it was pretty dusty. The cave was dark and gloomy imprinted with weathered stone and old corpses of the fallen. Ayoka gripped my hand in fear. I didn't want to bring her but there was a chance she could get captured and I couldn't let that happen.
Soon we stood in front of a gate.
Trial One:Worst Fears You Will Fight To Reach The Angelic Light.
"Fight worst fears? Angelic Light?" I asked.
"Angelic Light is probably the sònē crystal. It is said to be the crystal that the heavens granted made entirely of angel's purity. But fight your worst fears is more complicated. This cave is supposedly cursed. In the first trial you will battle one of your fears." Captain said grimly. I nodded my understanding.
"Ayoka stay close to me okay?" I called to her. She nodded and hid behind me. We walked in and it was suddenly as if the others disappeared. Only Ayoka and I were left. Suddenly echoing footsteps were heard. We turned around and Ayoka screamed.
Our father. His face twisted in insanity and his hands covered in blood. "Why did you run from Daddy my sweet little girls?" His voice echoed in the quiet room. I gritted my teeth as my body shook unwillingly. No more holding back.
"Ayoka stay as far away as possible." I said seriously. "B-But-" she whimpered. "Ayoka don't worry we are getting out of this together!" I said and she nodded running as far as possible.
"Aya. You disappoint me child. You are getting weak. All for that brat that killed your mother? If you won't see her true colors then you are a demon yourself!" He spat before lunging. He tried to dig his dagger in my side but I evaded it easily and kicked his leg tripping him. "Do you honestly think I was named best female fighter to be taken down so easy?" I asked raising my eyebrow. I brought out my own dagger and he got up. At the same time we lunged.
Our weapons sparked together as we fought with pure strength. I pushed as hard as I could. "AGH DIE ALREADY YOU BASTARD!" I screamed before putting all my strength in one last shove. He tripped and skidded across the floor. "H-how?!?" He yelped. I knelt to him placing my dagger on his neck. "I am stronger then you think. I'm not afraid of you anymore. I'm finally ready to move on. In fact I pity you. Your just a foolish man driven by pain and sorrow. I know your going where you deserve when you die." I said coldly before plunging my dagger into his sick black heart. He writhed but eventually stilled.
Trial One was completed.
