I really like how it turned out. Chapter updates will probably be slower because I'm back in school, unfortunately. I'm sorry that this chapter took so long to publish, school. Anyways, onto the new chapter. - - - -
Jeez, why is it so difficult to do work? Staring at her computer, Kaede felt like falling asleep. Kaede loved the actual music playing part of her university classes but hated the worksheets with a burning passion.
She kept glacing over at time, hoping it would make time go faster, but only made it go by slower. There were only 6 minutes left in her last lecture of the day, then she'd have the rest of the day off. Kaede couldn't get any work done, she was just really excited to spend the day with her friends. She kept typing in random letters and then deleting them, to lazy to actually get work done. The time slowly ticked down, only 2 minutes left. Kaede quietly began to pack up, as to not disturb the others, all was left was the professor's dismissal.
"We'll continue this tomorrow, you're all free to leave"
Kaede leaped out of her seat, bolting out the door and into the busy hallway. She kept bumping into people and apologizing trying to leave campus and get to her dorm. As she approached the door, she kept fumbling for her keys, getting quite desperate. Inside, she found her roommates getting ready. Kaede sighed in relief, "Oh thank goodness...! I thought I'd be late..."
"Well if you don't hurry the fuck up you will be" Miu called out from her room.
The sound of drawers opening and closing filled Kaede's ears, she needed to change into something else. Quickly running into her room she got out her new outfit. She grabbed a warm and soft purpureus colored coat with a fuzzy hood and a long sleeved pink shirt. Then, she got out a pair of warm black pants, and finally some boots. She looked at the time 3:06 p.m. The plan was to first go shopping, then play in the snow, eat dinner, and lastly, drop Kaede and Miu off at work.
Miu was originally reluctant about the plan, saying that they should just take the day off, and while Kaede would have loved a day off, she knew it would be a bad decision in the long run. So in the end, they were able to convince their manger to let them work a later shift. It would be better anyways since the cafe got busy late at night, especially on cold nights.
Kaede wondered if she'd have enough time to shower, "When are we planning to meet?!" She desperately asked.
"4:00 p.m" Tsumugi calmly replied back, cleaning her glasses.
"That's perfect! I have enough time!" Kaede entered the bathroom and quickly got the water going.
After showering and changing into her clothes, Kaede did her hair. She had decided to keep it down, hoping her hair would give her warmth, so she only combed it. Once she exited the bathroom she saw that everyone else was ready. Maki stood up from the couch, "It was about time you got out. Why'd you even change? You took forever".
