Friendship

Shuichi was dragged out of bed at exactly 7:41 a.m on a Saturday by his two roommates.

"AHHH! WHAT'RE YOU DOING?! ITS 7 IN THE MORNING!"

"We're all gonna have fun together all day!!" Kokichi eagerly yelled.

As Shuichi got pushed out of his warm and cozy bed, he found that Kiibo had already fallen victim to Kaito and Kokichi.

"Sometimes I wish I had gotten different roommates" Kiibo solemnly said.

Kaito's voice boomed through the dorm, "Alright listen up! Me and Kokichi made plans with Makiroll and her roommates! So, today we're going to spend the day with them! One big friendship!!"

Shuichi and Kiibo exchanged glances, they didn't know if they liked the sound of that one.

"Awww c'mon guys!! Stop looking like ya wanna gouge your eyes out"

"Yeah what Kaito said!! Plus, Shuichi! Your dear Kaede is gonna be there Y'know!" Kokichi said, imitating kissing noises at the same time.

"What does Kaede have to do with this?!" Shuichi exclaimed.

"Shuichi! Kiibo! Go get ready! Kokichi and I are gonna force you guys to go!"

At that moment Shuichi agreed with Kiibo. At times, he too felt himself wishing for different roommates.

As the four male roommates walked into the restaurant, feminine shouting could be heard in the back.

Instantly, they could tell who it was. "Why....is Miu making so much ruckus?" Shuichi asked.

Kiibo gulped "I don't like the stares we're getting".

"C'mon guys let's just sit down!" Kaito exclaimed.

As soon as Kaede saw them, she waved them over, "Oh hey guys! Come on sit down! Don't worry we haven't ordered yet". The guys shuffled a lot trying to sit down, shoving Shuichi to make sure he got to sit next to Kaede. He cringed mentally and physically, he knew what they were up to.

"You guys took forever! Do you really think a genius like me should be waiting this fucking long? Don't waste my fucking time!"

"Nobody cares Miu!! Anyway, Can we order already? I'm soooooo hungryyyyy, plus these guys woke me up suuuuper earlyyy" Kokichi whined.

Kiibo was quick to retaliate, "Hey! Don't paint yourself as the victim!"

"I swear I'm never coming to another hangout ever again" Maki mumbled.

"Makiroll cheer up! We've barely got here!" Kaito said, casually wrapping his arm around her.

"S-Shut up"

Kaede giggled, "Don't you think they're adorable?" Kaede whispered into Shuichi's ear. Shuichi softly laughed too, "I agree. Though they're a bit painful to watch sometimes" Shuichi whispered back. Amidst all the noise, the two communicated through whispers, it was the only way they could hear each other.

"Sigh, once again everyone forgot I'm here. It's so plain obvious" Tsumugi sighed.

"Hey Kokichi! Pass the Gyudon!"

Kokichi sat as still as a statue, not moving an inch.

"You're so annoying Kokichi! Can't you pass me the damn food?!"

Shuichi sighed, he quickly grabbed the Gyudon and passed it to Kaito.

"Thanks sidekick! You're so nice! Unlike Kokichi here" Kaito grumbled.

"Miu please! Settle down!" Kiibo pleaded.

A very drunk Miu was now causing a scene in front of everyone. "Ugh this is why I can't stand Miu. Hey bitch! Sit your ass down!" Kokichi yelled, which to be fair, only attracted the attention of a lot more people.

"Can you guys please slow down on the drinking!? It's really embarrassing" Kaede said.

"You're no fun Kaediot!! No wonder why Shuichi won't fuck you!!"

Shuichi slumped down in his seat, wanting to die.

"MIU! Please shut up!!!" Kaede's face went red from embarrassment and anger.

"We're definitely gonna get kicked out" Maki mumbled.

Thankfully, Kaito stopped them from drinking anymore, "Alright guys, pack it up!! You guys have had one too many drinks."

"Awww c'mon! Just one more!" Tsumugi said, reaching for her shot cup.

"No!! You're already stumbling all over the place." Kaede scolded.

"How am I gonna get to the car with these two?" Kiibo asked no one. He was holding up Miu with one arm and Kokichi with the other.

"I'll help you" Maki said. This surprised Kiibo, he was grateful nonetheless. "Thank you so much Maki!"

"Hey Shuichi! Help me here with Tsumugi will ya?" Kaito asked. "Uh, sure...". And so they walked to the cars, Kaede being the only one with empty arms. She giggled seeing everyone else carry drunk people. "I feel special right now!"

With Miu, Kokichi, Tsumugi, and Kiibo accompanying them in the cars, the rest of the sobers were outside, talking.

"This is not at all what I had in mind" Kaede said.

"I'm not ever hanging out with you guys again" Maki grumbled.

"Yes you are Makiroll"

"By the way, are you all coming to my competition, including the others in the car"

"Of course we'll go Kaede!" Kaito exclaimed.

"Well, it wouldn't hurt to go" Maki said.

Kaede turned to Shuichi, waiting for his answer, he chuckled, "I don't think I need to tell you. You already know my answer" Shuichi smiled at her and she smiled back.

"Hehe, well now I'm satisfied! We should take these guys home now!"

"Yep its been a long day!! Can't say I didn't have fun though" Kaito replied.

"Well Goodnight guys! We had fun!" Kaede shouted, her and Maki walking to their car.

"We did too!" Shuichi and Kaito both exclaimed. Just as Shuichi opened the door to the driver seat, he heard Kaede shout back,

"Goodnight Shuichi!!"

AN- Short chapter I know 😔, but school is coming soon and I want to write as much as I can before I go back. Which btw, probably won't be much. So sorry but I'll definitely try my best to write!
