The days seemed to get shorter as Shuichi's departure got closer. Kaede was always in a somber mood dreading the day he left. Yet she felt dramatic for being so sad.
"Geez he'll only be gone for a couple days. I don't get what the big deal is" Maki said setting breakfast on the table. "Yeah, guess your really that fucking desperate for that blue haired bitch huh?" The three other girls glared at Miu. "The fuck are y'all looking at? I'm just saying the truth" Miu defended herself.
"I'm not desperate! It'll just be boring without him...! That's all..." Kaede retaliated, while pouting.
Maki looked out the window while taking a bite of toast, "Mhm...keep telling yourself that"
Tsumugi sipped her coffee before adding onto the conversation, "Maki's right. You're always in denial! You say you like him as a friend yet you miss him so much!" Tsumugi exclaimed. She practically swished her entire coffee onto the table.
Kaede looked as though she was actually thinking about what Tsumugi had said. She looked deep in thought before shaking her head, "No, I don't like Shuichi" she said while shaking her head more vigorously than before. "Why are you looking at me like that! I don't like him" Kaede scoffed. However the more the girls stared at her the more she thought about it.
"GAH! I DONT KNOW ANYMORE!!" Kaede finally shouted. She slumped down in her chair and covered her face with both hands. "I don't know how I feel anymore!" Tsumugi pat her shoulder. "Yah yah. Don't worry too too much, you'll start to get sick."
Kaede shot back up to her chair, "What if I do like him! Then what?!" Miu scoffed and rolled her eyes. "Then you tell him, you dumbass!"
"Okay, what if I do tell him, he likes me back, we get together, and then we break up and I lose him?! Then what!? I can't lose Shuichi!" Kaede exclaimed.
"You have to learn how to take risks. What if you don't break up and you're just losing a once in a lifetime opportunity. You have to think of both sides" Maki said.
Kaede thought about it. "Hmm...well you are right..." she sighed. "Ugh! I don't know what to doooo!"

Kaede disappeared into her room and began to question her feelings for Shuichi. When she thought of him, she felt warm inside and on her face, yet she also felt happy. When she was with him, she felt the same thing but on a larger scale.
He made her happy and she wanted to make him happy too.
She flopped down on the bed and groaned, "UGH I FEEL LIKE A LOVESICK TEENAGE GIRL!!" Kaede screamed into her pillow. She pressed her hands to her cheeks, and they felt warm, "I do like him...don't I?" Kaede sank back into her bed, "but how the hell do I win him over?!"

"Hey Shuichi"
"Hm?" Shuichi replied, not looking up from his computer.
"How are you and Kaede doing?" Kaito asked with a slight smirk. They were all in the living room minus Kokichi, but then they heard the door quickly open, "What's going on? I heard Kaito mention Shuichi and Kaede!" Kokichi said with a huge grin on his face.
Shuichi scoffed, and finally looked up from his computer, "I don't know what you're talking about. There's nothing between Kaede and I" he said shaking his head before turning back to his work.
Kaito pointed at Shuichi with the same hand he had a can of Fanta in, "That blush on your face says otherwise~"
"There's no blush on my face...!" Shuichi replied.
"Oooo someone won't admit they're in looove~" Kokichi said.
"Shuichi, why are you so against the idea of a romantic relationship?" Kiibo questioned before gasping, "Do you hate Kaede?!"
Shuichi looked very offended, "I could never hate Kaede!" He exclaimed.
"Ah so then you LOVE her! I see I see" Kokichi mocked.
"What?! I never said that!"
"AH-HAH! BUT YOU'RE NOT DENYING IT!" Kaito exclaimed.
"Because...! Huh...!? Uh..? AGH WHO AM I KIDDING? YOU'RE ALL RIGHT" He then softy spoke, "I do like Kaede...!"
The others smirked and high fived each other.
"She's just so...so sweet and perfect that I couldn't help but like her!" Shuichi groaned, "What am I going to do...!?"
"Confess dumbass bitch!" Kokichi said with eyes wide, as if stating the obvious. "Kokichi is right... you have to confess! I'm 100% sure Kaede likes you back! No doubt about it." Kaito added. "If you do confess, I suggest to do it on Christmas. I think it'll be a very romantic way to confess" Kiibo suggested. Kokichi snapped his fingers at the idea, "Oooo Kiiboy's right! You two should kiss under the mistletoe too" Kokichi smirked and raised his eyebrows up and down. Shuichi sat in thought, "I...don't know, it feels like she likes me too, but I'm not sure"
"You have to take the risk Shuichi! This shit is gonna sound really fucking corny but, doesn't the idea of holding her hand and spending your days with her make you happy?" Kaito asked.
Shuichi thought about it. Though it was really corny, the idea did make him happy.
"Fine! I'll do it! I promise I'll do it!"
"On Christmas?" They asked.
Shuichi's breath got a bit shaky, "yeah...on Christmas....!"

That's night Shuichi got the courage to call Kaede.
"Hey Kaede" he said.
"Hi Shuichi!" She sounded so calm and collected but little did he know she freaked out a bit when she saw his caller ID.
"How has your day been going?" He asked, trying to calm himself down.
"Hm..it's been good. Though some group of kids in one of lectures started an argument with me. They suddenly began bashing on young musicians and I had to do something. Yet they got so mad at me!" Kaede scoffed, "I mean, who do they think they are?!"
Shuichi slightly giggled with a huge smile on his face. Hearing her being so passionate about music and other musicians was something he loved about her.
"Did it teach them a lesson?"
"I sure hope it did! They got quiet real quick when I brought up good points"
Shuichi giggled once more, "Do you wanna meet up for breakfast tomorrow?" He asked.
"Mhm! That sounds perfect!"
"Alright, see you tomorrow then"
"See ya!"
They both hung up with a huge grin on their faces.
