Plot- How JJ and Kiara met and how they get together. (I made up a lot of this which is why it took me a little longer to write. I didn't want it to feel rushed)
Note- guys let me know if you want specifics in these stories cause idk if I'm writing what you really want.
"She's a kook." JJ says, slapping his forehead. "She's rich and entitled. They all are."
"I wouldn't be so sure about that." John B grins. "Sarah isn't all that bad."
"Sarah is a Pogue." Pope corrects.
"Come on guys, she's cool. And she said she can get us free food at the wreck."
"She works at the wreck?" Both boys exclaim.
It seemed as though Pope and JJ had already decided. When John B told them about the girl he'd seen passing the Cameron's boat, there was no doubt she was a kook, and therefore not one of them.
JJ did entertain the thought for while, viewing it as if John B hadn't completely lost his mind. I mean, this was his best friend, right? She couldn't be that bad.
So they rode to the restaurant in silence.

"Okay, I should be able to get her from the back. Just gotta avoid her dad." John B says as they enter.
Pope and JJ hang back by one of the tables.
"Tell me I'm not alone thinking John B's lost it." Pope says while they wait. "He's gotta have a crush on her or something. Do you think he's had a secret girlfriend this whole time?"
JJ rolls his eyes. "Don't overthink it, Pope. John B can be really freaking clueless, but he wouldn't do that to-"
JJ froze when he saw her; Kiara Carrera laughing with John B as she walks over to meet her potential friends. She was wearing a green crop top with flowered shorts. When she reaches JJ and Pope, her hand sends a wave to greet them.
JJ's response is a quick peace sign, which makes him facepalm later.
"Hey, guys." She looks to John B and then back to them. "I'm Kiara. You can call me Kie."
"We can?" Pope says, scanning her.
Kiara scans him back, giving him a once over before showing an unamused squint. She then looks to JJ who still hadn't put down the peace sign.
"You must be JJ." She's smiling, and JJ can't help but grin back.
Then he snaps out of it. "Yeah, that's me." He clears his throat. "Why, what'd you tell her, John B?"
