Abby wasn't speaking to me.

Not that I blamed her.

I mean, I was pretty angry at myself too. I hadn't thought about it. I hadn't thought about the fact that it would hurt her if she found out I had been sleeping with Graham.

Louis wasn't upset with me. He was walking me to every class I had on my own. He didn't want me to end up alone where Graham could corner me.

"You need to show up for practice tonight." He said as we walked side by side, after I got out of class and he had picked me up.

"I know.."

"So will you?" Louis pressed. "Because as the team captain, I can't keep letting you get away with skipping, even though I know you're struggling right now."

I fought the urge to roll my eyes.

"Do you even want to be on the team this year?" He asked. "Because if not, tell me and I'll find a replacement."

"I don't know..."

Louis placed a hand on my arm, making me stop. With a sigh, I tilted my head back and looked up at him.

"It's not that I don't want you on the team, because I really do, but you also need to think about yourself." He said softly, his arm rubbing up and down my arm. "Do you have the energy to focus on school and quidditch? Plus, you have a therapist coming to the castle every week for a session with you."

Fuck.

"Shit. I completely forgot about that. He's coming today." I said and grabbed Louis' wrist, looking at the clock that sat there. "In an hour."

I let out a sigh of relief.

"I'm in no hurry."

Louis stared at me for a moment, causing me to frown while letting go of his wrist.

"What?"

"I need an answer, Anna. Do I need to find a replacement for the team?

I shook my head.

"I can handle it."

"Are you sure?" He raised his eyebrows, and I nodded. "Fine. Alright, but don't hesitate to come to me if you feel like it's getting too much."

I was about to answer when someone knocked my shoulder and I stumbled back, about to fall when someone caught onto me.

Louis wasn't the one who caught me. No, Louis had dropped his bag and stepped between me and Graham who had appeared out of nowhere.

"Turn around and walk away, Montague." Louis said, his voice angry, yet calm.

"Don't flash your shiny head boy badge at me, Buckley. I have to have a word with my girlfriend."

Then he looked over Louis' shoulder, eyes landing on me.

"Anna. I need a word."

"She's not your girlfriend, mate." Louis said, shoving Graham in the chest.

Graham pushed back, his eyes locked on mine.

"Anna!"

"I'm not your girlfriend, Montague."

His face changed, and then he lunged for me, but Louis pushed him away while the person who held me, pulled me further against a firm chest.

With what was going on right now, I didn't spare the person one single thought. I had no idea who was holding me, but an arm was secure around my shoulder, a hand holding mine in an attempt of comfort.
