Should we kiss on it?

*Avery's point of view*

I jerk my head awake in the middle of the 5SOS interview that is still going. Was I drooling? Good lord I hope not. That would be so embarrassing. I mean even though that Calum boy is the worlds biggest jackass he is kinda cute. But, just a little cute.

"And that's all we have time for this week. This is Adell and Avery from KSID goodnight!" Adell says using her signature sign off.

"Wow, you were amazing." Michael says doing this breathy thing with his voice that girls all like so much for an unknown reason to me.  You know like the heavily breathing that is in like every movie that causes the girl to fall for the boy? Yeah, that voice would never work on me.

"Awe you too." She smiles while biting her lips and thrusting her chest forward. Ew I want to vomit.. It's like I am watching some sort of soft core porn or something. I'm not sure what I am watching but, all I know is I really don't like what is going on.

"It was nice to meet you guys." I whip out one last fake smile and slowly walk back to my desk.

And I was fine I was minding my own business at my desk tumblring the day away when Adell comes in. She doesn't even need to open her mouth and I can already feel myself being annoyed with her. She is just one of those people that get under your skin. 

"Sooooo, that was a fun show huh?" She gives me a smile.

"Uh, yeah I guess." 

"Calum told Michael that he has a thing for you." 

"Cool." I try to remain zen. 

She sighs. "How do you feel about going on a double date with Calum, Michael and me tomorrow night?"

"No."

"Please?"

"No."

"Pretty please. You know that I am just going to keep bugging you tell you say yes. "

"Okay, so, no." I hate double dates more then anything.

"Just one date and then you won't ever seen them again."

"Fine."

"Really?" She shrills!

"Yes, now go before I change my mind." And with that she rushes out of the room.

~the next day~

This day drags on. Most likely because I am dreading this double date I am being forced to go on. Did I mention I hate double dates? Or that I hate Adell? Or that I hate Calum? Oh wow, how did I get sucked into this?

"Are you ready?" Adell asks wearing the shortest skirt I have ever seen.

"Unfortunately."

"Wait? Are you wearing that?" She specks in such a snobbish voice. God, sometimes I want to punch her in the face.

"Yes?" I say looking down at my over sized flannel.

"Don't worry I always keep a spare outfit in my car let me go it."

"No, thanks." I know she is trying to help but I like my outfit just fine. I am not trying to empress anyone. Expect for Calum a little but, only to make him wish he had me.

"Hey lets go!" The boys say walking in to the room.

"Okay! We are ready." Adell I guess is now speaking for me.

After the date we had dropped Michael and Adell off and Calum offered to walk me home. I only said yes because I am afraid of walking home in the dark.

"So, you really don't remember me from the other night?" Calum asks.

"No I do."

"I knew it." He smiles at me. It kinda makes me nervous. "So why don't you like me?"

"Because, I have dated the bad boy player in the band before."

"Oh, so you think you know me so well?" He smiles at me again but, this time it's that cocky smile that he probably uses to get girls to sleep with him. Well, this isn't going to work on me. 

"Yeah, I do." I gave him a shrug. 

"I'm not like them!"

"Ooookay."  when I said the okay I put it in air quotes. 

"Wanna bet?"

"Yeah, I do actually!" 

"Okay, I bet that I can get you to fall for me in ten dates."  

"Ten dates?" 

"Yeah." 

"Okay, it's on!" I say. 

"Should we kiss on it?" 

"No."
