I follow Luna Maria through the large mansion and up the stairs. While I was walking, I couldn't help but admire the stunning architecture of the house, it was the only house in the area bigger than the pack house. The cream stone was representative of old manor architecture, pillars and beams holding the colossal building upwards, the stone becoming worn from its long history. The foyer had winding epic staircases made from polished wood that ended on a reflective marble floor, all with stunning red undertones that complimented the gold in the grand chandelier.

Luna Maria moved into this house with the Alpha when they decided to start their family. Before that, it's traditional to live in the pack house. Looking around, I could imagine little Adams and mini Reines running around chaotically while Adam and I chased after them. I could imagine family dinners in the dining hall and movie nights in the tv room. This house is incredible, I only hope that Raphael and his mate don't move in before we  do.

The Luna led me up the stairs. I rested my fingertips across the handrail and felt the polished wood easily slide under my fingers as I walked. After reaching the first floor, the Luna led me up a second set of stairs, which I had never been up before. Raph and Adam's rooms were on the first floor, the only difference was the ground floor was made of marble whereas the first and second floor were decked with plush white carpets.
"Do you like them?" She tilts her head slightly to look at me.
"Like what?" I ask.
"The carpets. We had them installed a few years ago." She smiles after looking at my conflicted face. "Don't worry, they're stain resistant, you don't have to worry about your children making a mess of it."
My heart skips a beat.
"Come on," she says urging me up the final flight of stairs.
She leads me into the biggest bedroom I'd every seen. It looked more like an apartment than a bedroom. Glass doors with white wooden frames and gold detailing separated a large lounge from an even larger bedroom.
"This is where the Alpha and Luna stay. Obviously you'll need to make some adjustments but it should do just fine."
I'm in awe. The thought of living in luxury like this makes my heart beat faster and palms sweat. I'd already lived a privileged life as a beta's daughter but this kind of luxury was reserved for kings and queens, a kind of luxury I'd never known before.
"Come with me dear." She leads me through double doors into the largest wardrobe I'd ever seen. Cupboards and drawers decked with designer clothing surrounded me and in the middle was two sofas facing back to back. Shelves filled with shoes covered the wall at end of the closet. I looked to the side and there were draws with an embedded safe to lock away jewellery. I think I died and woke up in heaven. "Ah here it is," I hear the Luna say and I look over to her to see the front half of her body lodged between clothes until she pulls out a large dress bag and places the hanger on a hook.
She unzips the bag and says "Ta-da," pointing to the dress excitedly. It's a long white dress made from a cream-coloured silk. The design was simple, the top corseted with a sweetheart neckline and the bottom a huge elegant skirt that made it look like a wedding dress.
"Do you like it?" She asks.
"I-I love it! It's beautiful." I say, stunned by its beauty.
"It was mine, I wore it during my ceremony and I would be honoured if you wore it at yours."
I look at her stunned. I've never felt so accepted before.
"I know what your thinking but don't worry it's been thoroughly cleaned and it's like it's brand new. We can make some alterations if you like."
"No need it's perfect," I say still enamoured by the beauty of the dress.
"That's brilliant! Thank you Reine. I feel honoured." She smiles so widely and passionately that she grabs me and gives me a big hug, holding me for a while.
She sighs and rezips the dress bag. "We'll get that altered to fit after you decide on a date."
She takes my hand and leads me back outside and she shows me around her blossoming garden. We walk around for a while admiring all of the blooming flowers in a range of colours, shapes and sizes and we talk about everything. Luna duties, my life, hers, Adam. We even talk about Raphael.

As we saunter back to the white, caged gazebo she takes my hands in hers and looks me deeply in the eyes. The smile she gave caused my cheeks to redden and blush.

"I couldn't think of anyone who will be a better Luna than you Reine. Ever since I found out you were fated, I've been at peace even while you were away, knowing that the packs future is secure. I love you dear." She reaches up and cups my cheek. I look at her for a minute and decide to reach out and wrap her in my arms and she sinks into me.

She lets me go.

"You should be going," she says. "And you should check your phone."
I look at her with a confused expression and head over to the dining table, take my bag of the chair and search for my phone.

I read my texts.

"I should go," I say, concerned about my broken things. "Thank you for today Luna." I hug her again.

"You're welcome anytime darling. I'll see you on Friday okay?" She places a soft kiss on my cheek.
"Okay," I whisper and I walk around the building through the side gate to meet the driver in front of the house and head home.
