The cars stopped in front of a huge gate which when opened showed a magnificent white Nawabi Haveli. The haveli door opened to a huge room with big windows and white walls engraved in golden designs. A big chandelier was hung in the center and white, grey sofas were kept on all the three sides of living room. The entire house had white marble floors.
The Haveli
The remaining house was divided into two parts: the first was a big hall and four bedrooms build around it. The hall had couches set-up in front of television and a dining room which can sit around 15 persons. The second part was connected to the hall by a small hallway which opened to an atrium. The atrium had a tree in the center and corridor running on all the sides. This side of the house had only two bedrooms of first floor while the ground floor had a small gym, study room and two rooms for house help but their door opened on the other side towards the garden.
The second portion (Atrium):
Sidharth was moving towards his room which was on the extreme corner of the hall when he was stopped by his mother 'Sidharth aapka room doosri tarf shift kar diya hai. Yeh room phuphi ka hai. Unko pair mein takleef hai to wo stairs nahi chad paati hai. Aap udhar jaa kar fresh ho lijiye, maine saman Ashfaq se bhijwa diya hai. Jaldi aayiega aapki manpasand biryani banayi hai'. Sidharth simply nodded his head and moved towards his new room, he heard someone singing in the room next to him. It must be Parveen phuphi's daughter. Sidharth had already moved to US when his Khala shifted to his home. So he hardly had any recollection of meeting her daughter.
