Part 6

After a week, Sid was waiting outside of airport when a smile formed on his face watching Naaz running towards him for a hug.

Sid: Kaisi ho Naaz? Aur baaki log kyu nahi aaye?

Naaz: Hum aache hai. Nani ki tabiyat thodi nasaz ho gayi to ammi aur Mami nahi aaye and appi ka to aapko pata hai naa, exams chal rahe the unke. But hum to hai naa kissi ki bhi kami mahsoos nahi hone denge aapko. Aap kaise hai?

Sid smiled: ab tum aa gayi ho to main bhi theek hu. Chalo ghar chalte hai

They went back to Sid's house as Sadiq stayed with his roommates. It was simple 1 BHK apartment near his hospital.

Naaz: Bas itna sa ghar hai aapka. Aur idhar aapki khidki se doosre ka bedroom dikhta hai.

Sid: Naaz, idhar main bas sone ke liye aata hu. Jyada time to hospital mein rehta hu. Thoda busy hu.

Naaz: Waise humne aapka naam Sadu rahkha hai. Jab bhi phone karo khadoos ki tarah jawab dete hai 'Naaz, main kaam kar raha hu', 'Naaz, main operation ke liye jaa raha', 'Main abhi so raha'; kabhi seedhe muh baat hi nahi ki hai aapne. 

She complaint with a pout but she was thankful that Sidharth had ignored her else she would have confessed to him by now.

Sidharth: Kya karu Naaz. Yahan bahut patient rehte hai, phir bhi hum kitno ko lauta dete hai. But abhi gussa nahi karo, maine 3 din ki chutti li hai. Tum aram karo aur shaam ko tayar ho jana premier ke liye, main thoda hospital se aata hu.

Sidharth came early to find Shehnaaz all dolled up for premier. She was wearing a white and grey chikankari suit with straight hair and minimal makeup. 'Looking pretty Girl. Chalo main bhi tayar ho jata hu' said Sidharth. It was one simple compliment but Shehnaaz was again back to her love sicken teenage girl mode. All her resolve was already shaken after seeing Sidharth and this complimented had already melted her. They went for premier and the show was well received by critics. They later went for Sadiq's after party.

Naaz: Sadiq bhai, aapki Rukhsana kab tak aayegi? Mujhe milna hai unse

Sadiq: Apne bade bhai se pooch. Pata nahi kya time bola tha abhi tak nahi aayi.

Sid: Aa jayegi, usne bola tha wo aayegi. Itna kyu tension mein hai. Aaj propose karega kya usse?

Naaz giggled to see Sadiq so nervous. Soon, Rukhsana also joined them. Rukhsana saw Naaz sandwiched between Sadiq and Sidharth. She observed Sidharth was different person for Shehnaaz, over attentive, overprotective.

Rukhsana: So is this Sazia, you sister?

Sadiq: No, she is youngest, Shehnaaz. She is our phuphi's daughter

Naaz: Hi Rukhsana ji. Heard a lot about you. She said while eyeing Sadiq but Rukhsana was happy thinking Sidharth talks about her.

All drinks and food came.

Naaz: Sadu, hum bhi thoda wine pee kar dekh sakte hai? She asked with puppy eyes.

Sid raised his eyebrows: You drink???

Naaz: Nahi, hum pehli baar drink karenge. Please ek baar.

Sid simply shook his head in a NO.

'Please...Please, hum aur kiske saath jaa kar try kar sakte hai aapke alawa. College ke ladko saath jaa kar try karein tab?' She yelled irritated

Sid widened his eye at her threat but agreed and ordered her a wine for her. She happily took a sip and immediately took out her tongue showing vomit. 'Kitna ganda taste hai. It tastes like rotten grapes'.

Sid: Ye rotten grape hi hai. Try mine aur apna mujhe do

Naaz took a sip of his beer. 'Ye to acchi hai. Hum ye peete hai aur aap humara pijiye'. Sid smiled and exchanged the drinks. Rukhsana was shocked as Sid never even shared his tiffin let alone drinking from someone's glass. She saw Sid stealing glances at Naaz, he looked at her with so much love and care. It was first time for Rukhsana but Sadiq always saw his elder brother treating Naaz special. Rukhsana was jealous and angry. 

Rukhsana: So Naaz, what do you do?

Naaz: Hum padhayi kar rahe. 4th year MBBS.

Rukhsana: So, you are pretty young. Sid, ye tumse kitne saal choti hai?

Sid was taken aback by sudden questioning, and he didn't like it. 'Naaz, how old are you 22? Then around 10 years younger I suppose.' He replied rudely.

Naaz didn't mind, Naaz was in her la la land to again get special treatment from Sidharth, she simply nodded in a yes. She was now lightheaded, 'Lets play something' she requested. 'What?' asked Sid. 'Truth Shots' said Naaz clapping her hand 'ek question poochenge, if the answer is yes then take a shot'.

Sid: You are not playing, you are already tipsy. ek shot mein to talli ho jaogi.

Naaz: To kya hua, aap hain naa humare saath. Hum aaj ameer baap ki bigdi aulad hai. Aap humara dhyan rakhiyega. She giggled.

Sid rolled his eyes but agreed to all her demands. everyone sat around a big table and started asking questions clockwise.

Question 1: Have you ever made out with any one in public place

Most people had their shots along with Sidharth, Sadiq and Rukhsana. Shehnaaz saw Sidharth taking the shot and was not happy with it. 

Question 2: Has a same sex person ever hit on you?

Only Sidharth with few other people had the shots. 'Hayye, mujhe to koi ladka bhi bhav nahi deta and inko dekho ladka...ladki sabke hitlist mein hai' she thought, she was jealous with the thought

Question 3: Were you ever caught with a love bite?

Mostly everyone took a shot except our Shehnaaz. 'Yeh kya hai, Sidharth ne sab kiya hai kya? Hayee humne to kissi ko aaj tak dekha bhi nahi hai, isiliye wo humne bacha samjhte hai' she murmured to herself.

Shehnaaz complained loudly: Aap sab log aise questions pooch rahe ho jisse hum shots naa le paaye. Gande ho aap sab. Her complained made everyone chuckle at this kid.

When a boy questioned. Are you a virgin?

This time Shehnaaz was the only one to take a shot and Sid gave a faint smile at Sana but a deadly glare at the guy. 

Question 5: Is the person whom you like in this party?

Sid, Sadiq and Rukhsana took shots. Sid was looking at Naaz while Rukhsana looked at Sidharth. Shehnaaz was torn whether to take a shot or not, if she did, Sidharth would easily find about her feeling; she did not want to again go back in same awkward state so she decided not to take the shot. Sidharth saw that and was sure that she doesn't like him and he is in one-sided love, but only if he knew better.

Sid: Lets end it here else log ghar nahi pahuchnge.

When Sana asked the question: Do you want to continue this game?

And everyone took a shot except Sidharth but then everyone saw him and started chanting 'SHOT...SHOT...SHOT'; Sidharth finally gave in, took the shot and continued with the game.

Shenaaz was almost drunk by now and Sid was also tipsy; Sid was worried, his secret would be out due to his drunken state. He forced Sadiq to end the party. Everyone bid good bye. Sidharth and Shehnaaz came back to Sidharth's place. Shehnaaz was lying on the bed alone, she was missing Sidharth who was sleeping on the couch. She was intoxicated and decided to hear what her heart said. She went to him and said 'Aap humare saath room mein chaliye. Humne yahan azeeb sa lag raha'

Sid: Naaz, tum jao, so jao, kuch nahi hai.

Naaz: Please humne darr lag raha hai aur need nahi aa rahi hai.

She pulled his hand requesting him multiple times till he agreed. He joined her on bed but remained on one side, away from her. But Shehnaaz came near him and hugged him and kissed his chest 'I missed you'. This girl was testing him.
