Part 10

Shehnaaz was always surrounded by guys who tried to woo her. But, she kept them at a safe distance not allowing any advances. She had already suffered wrath of Sidhath due to Raj and Rudra. Sidharth too saw so many people showing interest in Shehnaaz which was now concerning him. He had to do something; something that tells everyone that she is His. It was lunch hours, when he went to Shehnaaz's department and asked nurse 'Naaz kahan hai?'

Nurse: Sorry sir, kaun?

Sidharth: Naaz, ohh sorry, Shehnaaz kahan hai?

Nurse: Sir, Dr. Sharma ke saath round pe gayi hai. They should be back in sometime.

Sidharth goes to Dr. Sharma's cabin and waits for her there making the entire floor surprised. Shehnaaz with other junior doctors was following Dr. Sharma back to his cabin when she looked at nervous nurses (Sidharth is very strict Chairman afterall) and questioned them 'Kya hua?'. 'Maam, Sidharth sir aapka wait kar rahe hai cabin mein' answers one of the nurses. By this time all the doctors enter the cabin and are shocked to see Sidharth waiting.

Dr. Sharma: Dr. Khan, aap yahan? kuch kaam tha? he asked. 'Nahi, I am waiting for Shehnaaz. Aapke saath thi naa wo' replied Sidharth. Shehnaaz entered the cabin and everyone turned towards her 'Ohh..there she is. Chalo Naaz, we are going out for lunch' Sidharth declared. Shehnaaz narrowed her eyes 'Kahan? Aap wait karo main aati hu in 10 mins' she replied with a straight face ignoring all the eyes on her. She went out of the cabin quickly to avert any questions and collected her stuff from staff room and joined Sidharth in parking.

Naaz: Aaj kuch khaas hai? hum bahar kyu jaa rahe lunch ke liye?

Sidharth: Kal 'chai date' disturb ho gayi thi to tumhe 'lunch date' pe le jaa raha hu

Naaz widened her eyes in shock but was dancing in her mind after listening to word 'Date'. Sidharth chuckled at her reaction and said 'Kya hua? aise shocked kyu ho?'

Naaz: Hum aapke saath date pe kyu jae, aap humare Boyfriend nahi ho.

Sidharth: Tab ek din ke liye boyfriend maan lo, shayad issi bahane aaj pyar se baat hi kar lo

'Inko kya ho gaya hai, hum sapna to nahi dekh rahe. Allah, ye kyu humne pagal karne pe lage hai. Ab ye boyfriend kyu bol rahe...sach mein to flirt to nahi kar rahe. Nahi..nahi...abhi attitude dikhate hai warna phir bewkoof banenge hum.' she thought to herself.

Naaz: Boyfriend...sochti hu. Aaj aapka test leti hu...result dekhte hai. she said with sass.

They reached a rooftop restaurant on a high-rise building, the entire city was visible from there. They took a seat next to the window. Waiter comes and asks them for the order.

Sidharth: Ask maam. I am willing to do everything for her..I need to pass today. He said looking at Shehnaaz.

Naaz's cheeks were crimson red 'Control Shehnaaz...Yeh to flirt karne ki factory bane hue hai..dnt fall into this trap. But kaash sach mein ye humse aise hi pyar karein, kasam se jaan de du inke liye' she was thinking when waiter brought her back to reality. 'Maam order?'. She placed their order. Sidharth continued flirting with her making sure she gets the what he feels for her. They come back after their meal and she immediately calls Piya from staff room, 'Hello Piya, kya karun main?'

Piya: Ab kya hua Sanu?

Naaz: Sidharth bhai bhi shayad humne pasand karte hai. (She narrated the entire incident). . Abhi kuch din se to wo humare saath hi aate jaate hai hospital aur humari raat ki coffee session bhi chalu ho gaya hai. Tujhe kya lagta hai?

Piya: Mubarak ho Shehnaaz, aisa koi bhi ladka mazak mein bhi apni 'BEHEN' se nahi bolta. Flirt to kar rahe the wo, ab dekh le heathy flirt tha or he really likes you. Kuch din dekh, aise hi lage to propose him.

Naaz: Hum kar de unhe propose? Unka B'day aane waala hai...khud ko de du as present? She chuckled at her own joke

Piya: Sahi hai, kal tak ro rahi thi aur aaj seedhe mujhe mausi banane ki planning kar rahi ho.

Naaz: Aaahaan...Waise nahi keh rahe the hum. Kitna ganda sochti ho.

Piya: Mazak tha jaan. But congratulation!! u deserve all the happiness.

Unfortunately for SIDNAAZ, this conversation was overheard by Rukhsana, who was not so happy.

In the evening, Sidharth was leaving for home when he was stopped by Rukhsana. 'Sid, aaj tu mere saath ghar chalega? ghar pe power nahi aa rahi, I have called electrician. I dont want to be alone with him' she requested Sidharth. Sidharth being a gentleman replied quickly 'Sure, chalo'. He immediately called Shehnaaz 'Naaz, aaj mujhe kaam se Rukhsana ke saath jana hai, tum Sajia ke saath chali jao. Akele nahi jana, samjhi'. Shehnaaz was a little sad but the thought of him liking her took all her sadness away.

Shehnaaz came back home and was chirping like a little bird, which did not go unnoticed by family.

Sajia: Kya baat hai Naaz. Aaj itna khush kyu hai?

Naaz: Kuch nahi. Aise hi, jaldi free ho gayi. to aaj enjoy karungi.

Sajia teased her: Aacha mujhe laga, aaj Lunch mein kuch aacha khane ko mila.

Naaz immediately closed her mouth with her palm and pulled her to a room. She was looking at her with wide eyes 'Aapko kaise pata?'

Sajia: Sabko pata hai, pura hospital baat kar raha tha ki kaise khadoos khan ne shehnaaz ka wait kiya to take her out for lunch.

Naaz: to isme kya ho gaya...kaun sa hum pehli baar lunch saath mein kar rahe the.

Sajia: Humne dekha hai darling, but hospital mein bhaijaan ne pehli baar normal insano jaisa behave kiya to log baatein karne lage. Chill kar Bro!!. She started moving back to the hall and turned back before opening the door 'Waise i wouldn't mind agar baatein sach bhi hui to, you would look good as a BHABHI' she said winking at Shehnaaz while Shehnaaz stood there speechless with blush on her face.

On the other end of the city, Sidharth took Rukhsana home and was waiting for electrician in the dark living room which was lit by only candles.

Rukhsana: Kitne din baad apan saath mein time spend kar rahe. Kitna hectic schedule ho gaya tha. We should spend more time together.

Sidharth: You know right, ghar pe bhi thoda stressful rehta tha. Sorry, I know tu mere kehne pe aayi and I didn't even help you settle.

Rukhsana: No probs. But tu naa ab bore karta hai...aaj bhi lunch ke liye nahi mila. Tujhe mere saath atleast 2 meals to khaani chahiye.

Sidharth: Abhi ye jyada ho raha hai....chal morning and evening break ki chai tere saath...ho gaye naa 2 meals.

Rukhsana: Nahi, aise patli gali se mat nikal. Lunch to saath hi karna hai and that's final

Sidharth was already guilty for not taking care of his friend so he agreed. 'Chal theek hai, we will have lunch together if we both are free'

Rukhsana: Great, lunch ka to ho gaya but aaj candle light dinner karein? She said pointing towards the take away and the dining hall which was lit by candle.

Soon, the electrician came and fixed the lights but Rukhsana engaged Sidharth in patient realted conversations. Sidharth realized the time, it was already 11 so he bid goodbye to Rukhsana and left for home.

Shehnaaz was waiting for him in her balcony. '10 ho gaya, aisa kya kaam hai Rukhsana se jo itne raat ko chal raha hai' she murmured angrily. 'Dr. Sidharth Khan, Aaj boyfriend ka test de rahe the naa, FAIL ho gaye. Ab aaye date pe le jaane, humne bhi nani na yaad dila di to humara naam bhi Shehnaaz nahi'. Sidharth came back happy, unaware of the fact that kal kitne papad belne hai to Manaofy HIS NAAZ.
