Sorry Guys. for the late update. I was in no mood to write from last few days. I was extremely restless; I only felt better after watching hours and hours of SIDNAAZ clips. It made me feel like he is always with us. For us; he was always a person whom we admired on screen but for his family and Shehnaaz; he was hugs, love and kisses and that touch can never be replicated by a reel. They must be missing his presence and feel. It just breaks my heart to imagine how terrible they must have felt in last one year. It saddens me to see so many negative comments coming her way; how can people be so insensitive. I know she is very strong and its her strength that will give tight slap to all her haters.

Shehnaaz was very sad, it has been 3 years that she spent in dilemma, and now that Sidharth had finally confessed, everyone is again linking his name to someone else. Can't they see he likes her?. She was crying by hiding her face in the pillow when Sidharth came. 'Jaan, don't cry please. I know tu hurt hai but believe me I never treated her special. Woh sirf friend hai' He kept on rubbing her back. 'Aap please jaiye, abhi hume koi baat nahi karni hai' she said sobbing. 'Ok, I will just stay here' he said and laid next her till she slept. He looked at her face which had dried tears; he felt guilty.

The next day Shehnaaz was came for breakfast and sat quietly. Sidharth could sense that she was still not ok. Sidharth thought to give her space to let her align her thoughts but little did he know all she wanted was his attention and pampering. 'Kaam khud ke galat aur ignore humko kar rahe, kaun sa humne inhe logo ke samne embarrass kar diya. Unko kya lagta hai, I can't show attitude. Let me prove him wrong' the sadness was now turned to anger and hurt.

Sidharth, Rudra and few other doctors were having coffee, when Shehnaaz came and made her  tea and was going out without looking at the group. 'Hey Shehnaaz, ab to ignore bhi karne lagi' said Rudra. Shehnaaz stopped and looked at him with a smile 'Sorry Dr. Rudra, I thought I might disturb you guys, aap log kuch important discuss kar rahe the'. 'No Yaar, come and join us' requested Rudra. 'Are you sure? Is everyone ok with it?' she asked eyeing at Sidharth. 'Ofcourse' replied Rudra. She took a chair and sat next to Rudra, ignoring Sidharth.

'Rudra, how did you become friends with this pretty doctor?' asked one of the doctors. 'I met her due to Sid. She is his...' Rudra was replying but was cutoff by Sidharth 'She is with me' declared Sidharth. Rudra frowned and corrected him 'She is his cousin and stays with him'. Though Shehnaaz was family to Khan's but she always kept low profile, not to get any special treatment. Rudra was talking to Shehnaaz and she too was being friendly to Rudra. Though she was not flirting with Rudra but the closeness with Rudra was not liked by Sidharth, he was spitting fire. Soon, Shehnaaz left and everyone started teasing Rudra. This was the final nail in the coffin. 'Shut up guys!! Ab ye sab bakwaas nahi honi chahiye' Sidharth threatened everyone. He pulled Rudra to a corner 'She is very important to me and my family so I am telling you for the last time STAY AWAY FROM HER. I am sure I will never hear anything about you two even if it is a joke'. He left Rudra flabbergasted.

It was evening and Sidharth decided to take Naaz out for dinner and clear all the misunderstandings. He had understood what she felt after getting taste of his own medicine, also he was missing her terribly. He went to her department but did not find Shehnaaz any where. 'Hi Dr. Sharma, Where is Shehnaaz?' asked Sidharth. 'Oh Dr. Khan, I asked her to leave early today. She lost her first patient today and was extremely disturbed so I thought it will be better if she spends today with her family'. Sidharth was worried for her, he remembered how difficult it was to cope up with the first loss, its not like its get easy with time but doctors learn to move ahead after every loss.

At Khan Haveli

Shehnaaz was broken. She had been crying for several hours and had finally slept with her head on Reesha's lap while her Ammi Parveen was messaging her legs. Reesha was caressing her head.

Reesha: Aaj kya hua hai, bachchi bas ro rahi thi. Kuch boli bhi nahi. Uske friend se pooch kuch galat to nahi hua.

Parveen: Haan, main baat karti hu ek baar HOD se. Aap jaiye aaram kar lijiye main hu iske saath.

Reesha: Nahi main bhi yahin rahungi. Khana bhi nahi khaya, itna dukhi kabhi dekha nahi isse.

They both laid next to her and embraced her giving her the warmth and love she needed. Sidharth came back home and rushed to her room, where he found the three ladies lying in a small bed holding each other tightly. He quietly closed the door without disturbing them and was relieved to see that she was getting much needed love.

At the dinner table, he saw that Shehnaaz had not joined.

Sidharth: Naaz kahan hai phuphi?

Parveen: Beta, uski tabiyat theek nahi hai. Wo aaram kar rahi baad mein khayegi.

Sidharth: Phupho, aap khana nikal do..main le kar jaata hu...uske saath room mein kha lunga, warna wo dinner skip kar degi

Parveen: Aaj kya hua tha beta? Main jab bhi pooch rahi thi wo bas rone lag rahi thi to maine usko poocha nahi. Socha baad mein hospital mein pooch lungi kya hua

Sidharth: Aaj uski ek patient thi; 8 saal ki bachchi thi; uski death ho gayi. I think she was with her when she died.

Everyone was sad and understood the her pain. Parveen made plate for her and started moving towards her room. But Sidharth stopped her 'Phuphi, ek baar mujhe baat kar lene dijiye. Main bolta hu aapko, aap uske saath so jaiyega aaj. Phuphi nodded her head half hearted but she knew Sidharth would be able to console her better as Parveen herself would cry with her daughter.

Sidharth knocked on her door only to hear a soft hmmm. He entered her room and saw her lying on the bed rolled in a circle. She was still crying, he kept the food on the table and laid next to her, wrapping her in his arms.

Sidharth: How are you now? Idhar dekho meri taraf. He turned her and saw her teary puffy eyes, her cheeks had tear stains and nose had turned red. She looked so vulnerble. 'You can cry as much as you want. I am here for you' he said kissing her hair. She hugged him tightly as if her life depended on it and cried for a long time till she was exhausted. She finally spoke 'Aaj bahut ganda lag raha hai. Aisa kyu hua, Sidharth?'. 'I know, Jaan. And I am sorry. I wish I could change it but there are few things that are beyond us. Allah will take care of her' he consoled her. 'Janti ho mere mentor the Dr. Brett in US. I had lost my patient, she was a young girl 7 year old, she died from blood cancer, I felt I lost Sadia again. Main 3 din hospital nahi gaya, phir woh mere ghar aaye and unhone bola, that this is a curse of being a doctor that we see more death than any other profession. But we cannot stop because of this, you know why? Because the more we stop, the lesser smiles we will bring to people faces. I know bahut dukh hota hai but, Jaan, humko badi zimedaari di hai Allah ne, aise bhaag nahi sakte naa. Take you time, we will face it together and I am sure you will come out stronger. You are my strong Bacha.

He made her eat a little food and then again laid next to her engulfing her in his big bear hug. They slept like that.
