James still continued to court me again. He had been doing this for two weeks already. One night, the rain was pouring really hard. I heard James shouting at the front of our gates, begging me to come back to him. “Aubrey, please forgive me! I can’t take it anymore. I can’t live without you. You’re my life Aubrey. You’re the only one that I love. My heart is yours forever.” he shouted. My anger faded when I heard him say those words. I looked at him from the window of my room and saw how pitiful his situation was. He was wet, drenched because of the rain. Yet, he chose to stay there just to win me back again. I grabbed an umbrella and rushed downstairs. When I opened the gate, I saw him dripping and with sadness in his eyes. “Are you stupid?” I shouted at him. “How am I supposed to continue living if you’ll get sick tonight and die?” I was dragging him under the umbrella and into the house when I said those words to him. “Does this mean I am forgiven?” he asked me as I led him to the house. “You’d been forgiven James. Ever since we met, I can’t really stay mad at you for too long. I’d rather lose an argument to  you than lose you to an argument. Don’t you know that you are my life? Now go in there, remove your wet clothes and take a shower. I’ll just get some new dry clothes from my brother for you to wear. I don’t want to get widowed this early.  We are not yet even married.” I said to him seriously. I was really serious. I want to spend my lifetime, and even my whole eternity with him.

After I finished college, James proposed to me. We got married and started to build a family of our own. We never got into any serious fights again after that incident. I guess many of you are asking about the curse. Well, it already stopped pestering my wonderful life. It stopped after James and I reconciled that night when we had the biggest fight in our relationship. I guess love really conquers everything…
