This is it. This is the moment of truth. She led me to her desk and offered me a seat. She handed me the paper I gave her during her class, but it now had writings at the back; its translation. “I wish I can make scenarios in stories I read come to life.” WHAT THE HECK! Of all the lines that I may have read from that book I read this. My haunch was right. Those happenings were no coincidences but consequences. “Is there a problem Aubrey?” she asked me with a worried face. “Nothing. What language is this? How did you find its translation?” I asked her. “At my first sight of those words, I thought those were curses, spells. I just searched history books about countries known to practice witchcraft, sorcery, curses, spells. I do admit it is hard to find, but hey, I got lucky. It was and is still used in a hidden city in England where all the people living there practice curses, spells. Their wishes in life were written in a small book or diary and cast a spell on it. It was done to make their unfulfilled dreams to come true, not to them but to other people who read their book or diary. There is nothing to contradict its power. It is very strong. The type of language wasn’t given; only few of their words and their translation. By the way, where did you get those words?” she asked with a face waiting for an answer. “I had read those words in a little blue book I found in our attic when I was twelve. My mom warned me not to read it but I was too stubborn to obey her.” I answered. “Have you observed any happenings in your life that are like those in the stories you have read?” she asked. “Yes, just started a week ago, when we were assigned to read stories for written reports. If I had just listened to my mom, maybe I will never be in this trouble.” I said to her and frowned. “It doesn’t always mean trouble. I think not all scenarios in the story will happen to life. It can be your advantage if you’ll just choose the books you’ll read.” she advised to me with a smile. Before I could respond to her, she waved me goodbye and said “I really need to go. It’s getting late. Good luck!” Before leaving the room, I looked at Sir James who was also looking at me. “Why is he looking at me?” I thought to myself. Finding no answer, I just shrugged off the thought and waved him goodbye with a smile.
