Chapter 15

Paige groaned as she lifted her head from the pillow. Dean walked up to her and smiled.

"You okay?" He asked

"Like crap" She replied

Dean helped her out of bed and she sat on the chair. She returned Sam's smile.

"Cas came round yet?" Paige asked

Castiel sat down next to Paige "How are you feeling?" He looked at Paige closely

"Tired and I ache but Im fine" Paige stiffened "How about-" She began

Dean placed a large glass of vodka on the table infront of Paige, she looked at Castiel like a child.

"Im sorry" He said finally, looking her straight in the eye "It was too late when I got there"

Paige opened her mouth as if to speak but closed it again. She reached for the glass but Sam snatched it away.

"Your not drinking away your feelings"

Paige looked up at Castiel. "Take me there"

"No" Replied all three at once.

"I need to see them" Paige stood up "If you dont take me I'll drive there myself"

Castiel glanced at Sam and Dean "Fine. Im against this. Your not strong enough"

Paige closed her eyes. When she opened them again she was at her old house. She walked up to the front door and slowly opened it. In the hallway, Paige sensed demon activity and tensed, she walked into the front room and ran toward the bodies of her mother and father. Both of their throats slit. They showed signs of a fight, Paige smiled to herself but then felt a wave of anger. She turned to Castiel "What about Christine?"

Castiel looked up "No. Im sorry"

Paige walked up the stairs, into her younger sisters room and saw the lifeless body of her sister. She lifted the duvet and delicately placed it over her. Whispering an old latin nursery tale.

Paige walked back downstairs and saw that her card was sprawled on the table covered in blood next to the landline.

"I want to to back now"

She ran into Deans arms and he held her tight whispering that he's sorry.

She fell asleep being rocked by Dean.

Everyone was asleep in the motel, apart from Paige who untangled herself from Dean and grabbed the car keys.

She drove back to the abandoned building and stormed into the building.

"You wanted me here!" She shouted "You killed my family"

Hantreal walked infront of Paige

"You got my message then"

"The fact that your a bad loser?" Paige snarled, Hantreal flicked his wrist and Paige was flung back. She pulled herself back up to be pinned against the wall, Hantreal began to choke Paige and she was loosing consciousness as Sam and Dean ran into the room and chucked holy water on the demon. He screamed and backed away.

Dean checked Paige and walked towards the demon "You cant mess with a persons family"

Hantreal laughed "What like you did with Azazeal?" Dean and Sam were both knocked to the floor and hit the floor.

Paige stood up and faced Hantreal, she walked towards him, her eyes glowing indigo.

"You will die killing me" Hantreal smiled

"Then I will die saving hundreds" Paige replied

"Paige!" Dean shouted "Dont"

"Listen to your boyfriend" Hantreal smiled

"Im sorry Dean" Paige turned to face Sam and Dean "Cover your eyes"

Sam and Dean covered their eyes as Paige spread her arms out to the side in a cross shape and her whole body ignited in a bright indigo flash.

After the light had dimmed down, Sam and Dean rushed over to Paige who was on her back, her eyes glassy.

"Paige, Paige?" Dean placed his hand on her cheek to get her attention, she slowly looked at him and partly smiled, the teeth bared were bloody. "Is he gone?" Her voice was a whisper

"He's gone" Sam said, he looked at Dean "I'll call Cas"

"Im already here" Castiel kneeled beside Paige

She looked at him, her breathing was irregular and shallow.

"Help her Cas. You've got to save her" Dean faced Castiel

"I cant. She used the grace to defeat Hantreal. Angels cant touch indigo children after they use grace to kill. Any damage caused by their powers we cant heal"

"Dean" Paige whispered "Im sorry"

Dean cupped her face. "Shh" He whispered "Its okay. Its okay" He had tears in his eyes

"Im going to die" She whispered

"Dont say that" Sam replied, tears sliding down his face

"Im sorry" Paige whispered, she stopped breathing.
