"Good morning" Paige smiled, overpronouncing her British accent which made Dean smirk.
The young police secretary looked up and smiled at Paige and Dean "Good morning" She said "How may I help?" Her ginger fringe covering her bright blue eyes, flicking the hair out of her eyes was a common thing for her as she did it subconsciouly.
"I'm special agent Cooper from MI6 and this is my collegue special agent Collins, who is from the FBI" Paige smiled as her and Dean flashed their badges
The secretary stiffened and flicked her fringe out of her eyes. "How can I help?" She asked again. Paige sensed something different about her but couldn't quite put her tongue on it.
"Were here to look at the Brian Douzelle case" Dean spoke up
The girl's eyes darted from Paige to Dean "Can I ask why MI6 and the FBI are here to investigate an animal attack?"
"Mr Douzelle was a very important man to both MI6 and the FBI, he was a valued member of MI6 until recently until he came to see a sick auntie, we lost contact a couple of weeks ago" Paige informed the young secretary "Can I have a look at the information please?"
Dean was proud of how good the lie was that Paige just told the secretary, but wondered why she had chose to be MI6 and not a FBI agent.
Paige and Dean were lead into a back room by the deputy, he kept a running commentary for Paige and Dean as they walked past doors and awards. "Wow, being a spy must be really exciting!" The deputy smiled at Paige, she noticed that his smile was strained.
"Yes it can be" Paige replied "But I'm sure a nice quiet place here does the job"
"Its not quiet here" He whispered, which caught Deans attention. The deputy grapsed Paige's hand into his own "Thankyou" Dean moved foward as if to punch the deputy but Paige shook her head at him.
"Thankyou deputy-"
"Isenhower" He said
"Thankyou deputy Isenhower" Paige repeated.
The deputy walked out, weary of Deans death glare directed at his back, whistling a tune which Paige semi recognised.
"That tune" She said
"What about it?" Dean asked her
"I recognise it, I just cant remember where from"
After a bit of looking through CCTV and notes from the police officers, Dean's phone began to ring 'Highway To Hell' brought their investigation to a close "Sam" He said. After a minute of silence, Dean nodded "Were coming down now"
After ending the call he looked at Paige "Back to the motel"
What Paige and Dean didnt notice as they walked back to the Impala was a small dog with a gingery/brown coat and bright blue eyes was staring intently at them.
________
Once Paige and Dean had walked into the motel room, Sam looked up from his laptop.
"This news better make me smile Sammy" Dean smirked, grabbing a bottle of beer from the fridge and opening it.
"Looks like a werewolf attack" Sam said "I mean the lunar cycle works out and the heart's missing"
"What part of that is meant to make me smile?" Dean asked, a grimace on his face.
"At least we know what were hunting" Paige said, she sat down at the table and pulled out a locket from her pocket.
"Where did you get that?" Sam asked, eyeing the locket suspiciously.
"The deputy gave it to me. I think he suspects something is going on" Paige said, she opened the locket and saw two pictures. One was of Brian Douzelle, a short, plump man with an increasingly receeding hairline. His hair was black and he had dark brown eyes.
The other picture was of a dog, with a dark coat and black eyes. It resembled Brian a bit.
"He must have loved his dog" Sam said, peering over Paige's shoulder.
