Chapter 52

"Brian Douzelle was a terrible man" Paige whispered, out of the blue. She shivered even though it wasnt cold.

Sam was asleep and Dean had thought she had gone to sleep too. He walked over to her and wrapped his arm around her. "Why, what did he do?"

"He was a bad agent. He had a massive ego and thought he was the best at everything and everyone should look up to him"

"Theres something you aren't telling me" Dean whispered

Paige sighed "Its a long and boring story"

"I need something to put me to sleep" Smirked Dean

Paige lightly pushed him "It was when I had got back from Afghanistan. MI6 recruiters were at my front door, they took me to the big boss and I joined up. 'Why not?' I thought 'everyone who cared about me was dead" She sighed and snuggled up to Dean "For my third mission I was sent to Düsseldorf to infiltrate a terrorist organisation which threatened to kill all big oil CEO's and even threatened to kill the Royal family. I went to Düsseldorf with Rogerson, Carter and Douzelle. We got in deep, undercover I mean. All important parts in the gang, however Douzelle thought he could become the leader of the gang becuase he was best. Sadly for him, it didn't work and he was caught and in return for him to join the gang proplerly, he gave away all our names" She paused "He gave away all our names in return for him joining their gang. Both Rogerson and Carter were killed, I barely escaped with my life" Paige went silent.

After a while, Dean had thought that Paige had gone to sleep and was going to call Castiel when Paige shot up and walked to her laptop. "There was something off about them" She said

"Do it tomorrow, you need to sleep" Dean said

"No, I'm fine, you can go to sleep" Paige replied, her eyes glued to the screen. Dean huffed and went to bed.

Dean woke up to find Paige still staring at the laptop screen, Sam was out of the room; probably getting breakfast. Dean walked over as Paige burst out in a grin. "What?" He asked

"Took me a long time but I got in" She said

"Get into what?" Sam asked, walking into the motel room with a bag of food and coffee's in his other hand.

Paige looked up "MI6 database" She told them

"Its took you that long to get into MI6?" Dean asked

"Its a very hard website to hack Dean, even the best hackers in America took 3 days to hack into it, only to be arrested an hour later" Paige told him, looking at the screen. Her hands flying over the keyboard faster than Sam could possibly do.

"Gang name" She muttered to herself, combing her hair with her fingers "Bloodhound!" She excalimed "Thats the gang"

Her smile dropped when the screen loaded and Sam and Dean walked over to look at the laptop "They've gone off radar" Sam pointed out

"Gone after my mission" Paige said "Douzelle must have told them how to hide"

"Did you check the FBI database?" Sam asked

"Checked that" Paige replied

"Damn, you work fast" Dean smirked

Paige stood up and kissed him on the cheek "One of my traits I'm afraid" She grabbed some clothes and walked into the bathroom.

Sam turned to Dean "Has she slept?"

"No" Dean replied "I tried to make her but she was andamant that she would get into MI6 database "Whatever happened on that mission is much worse than what she told us and I think she's too scared to relive it when she's asleep"

After a couple of minutes Paige walked out of the bathroom is a white blouse, covered by a black blazer, accompanied by a knee length black skirt. Her eyes were outlined with a white eyeliner today and a baby pink lipstick was painted on her lips. She walked to the front door "I need to check the body and crime scene. Come if you want but I need to be quick"

Dean had fallen asleep and Sam shook his head "You go, if you need the time alone" He looked at her "Call if you find anything"

"Will do" Paige walked out and shivered as she walked to her car, the small hairs on the back of her neck pricked up and she turned around. She saw nothing but a black dog lying on the floor near the motel reception, Paige shook it off and got in the Skyline.

The trip to the crime scene was quiet, Paige didnt put on music and was thinking about her mission. Until Castiel appeared next to her and pulled left hard to get her on the correct side of the road. Paige slammed on the breaks and glanced at Castiel who was staring at her.

"Paige?" Castiel asked

"Yeah Cas?"

"What's wrong? Are you feeling okay?"

"Yeah I'm fine Cas, dont worry. I was just thinking about stuff"

"Your mission?"

"Sam or Dean told you?" Paige asked

"Sam told me, Dean's asleep. Seems he stayed awake to wait for you" Castiel half smiled "You dont have to fight this on your own"

"I should have known he was a liability Cas" Paige said, she drove towards the crime scene.

"I should get back. Call if you find anything" And with that Paige was left alone at the cordened off crime scene.

Paige bent down, she noticed some footprints and saw they were of a dog "Could be a small werewolf" she muttered. Scoping the place she saw scratches on the post. Three large gashes in the wood and attatched to one of the splinters was a tuft of dog fur. Brown dog fur - like Mr Douzelle's dog.

Thanking the police officers, Paige got in her car and drove to the morgue.

The doctor in there pulled out his body and left the room, allowing Paige the privacy of looking at Brian. She examined the body and couldn't find a trace of any dog hair, though he smelt of dog. This struck her as wierd because dog hair gets everywhere. Paige lifted his hand and noticed two fingernails missing, one had a splinter in it.

It hit her! Finally, she knew what had killed Brian Douzelle. She got out her phone and dialled Sam's number. He answered as she walked out of the morgue.

"Hi, Sam it's me" Paige said

"What have you found?" He asked, she knew she was on loudspeaker.

She heard a noice behind her, she estimated two people, both male.

"I think I have gum on my shoe, but I know what happened to our vic. It's not werewolves it's skinwalkers!"

"Who's following you?" Paige heard Dean call but she dropped her phone when she sensed the first man was right behind her. Paige swung around and drop kicked the man, he fell to the ground as the second man walked foward, he lunged to punch Paige but she easily dodged it and knocked him to the floor. Breathing heavily Paige picked up her phone again "Two lame asses. Dont worry I'm oka-"

She was stopped by the sound of the safety being taken off a pistol. Paige turned around to be greeted by the first man who was pointing a gun at her "How are you going to get out of this one love?" He asked
