"She was supposed to stay in hospital where she would be healed" Castiel told Sam and Dean
Dean turned and glanced at Paige "What are we supposed to do?" He replied "Drag her back to the hospital, kicking and screaming"
Castiel shrugged
"Anyways. She's safer with us" Sam replied
"Hospital was boring" Paige's voice rang out from under the quilt. She sat up with difficulty.
"Hospital is safe"
"Being with the two best hunters is safe Cas" Paige told him, she looked at the trio who stared at her "What?"
"Nothing" Sam smiled
"Whats happened with my family?" Paige asked
Dean cleared his throat and passed Paige his laptop, after clicking on the correct webpage.
She quickly read it and tears welled up in her eyes but she refused to let them fall down her face. "So the police say it was a random killing?"
"Turns out, yeah" Dean replied
"They are being buried in the local cemetary. The town raised enough money to give them granite tombstones each" Castiel told Paige "You should be at peace. Hantreal no longer exists"
"Yeah. I know"

(A week later)
"Come on" Paige teased Sam and Dean "Get packed"
Dean playfully shoved Paige and she mocked pain.
"Oh the pain" Paige smirked
"Whats the case?" Sam asked Paige
"Timothy Carton got squashed by his car, his wife came home and found him there"
"Okay?" Sam replied "And..."
"The son admitted to killing him. He says he blacked out and only felt rage"
"Sounds like a case" Smiled Dean, pushing the others out the door "Come on"

Paige smiled at the brothers "I think I can deal with this one" As she walked over to the desk of a young police officer. She dropped her folder she was holding.
The young police officer got up and picked it up for her, handing it over he smiled "Hi, Im officer John Caddy. And you are?"
"An interested party" Paige smiled
"Yeah" He smirked "About what?"
Sam glanced at Dean who was glaring at Caddy "Dude. Calm down. Shes only getting what we need"
Dean cleared his throat "Then why not use our FBI badges?"
"Because he is a LARPer and could tell that your's are outdated" Paige smiled
"And you knew that how exactly?" Dean asked her
"Memory" Paige smirked "Mind reading. Y'know being an indigo child does have its pro's" She shrugged "More cons than pro's to be fair"
"Got the info?" Sam asked
"Yeah" She flipped through the folder "The son is in custody at the jail the other side of town"
"The other side of town?" Dean inquired
"Yeah, apparently a fire broke out here two days ago. They had to open the old jail again" Paige replied. "Lets get back to the motel. My painkillers are back there"
"Your in pain?" Asked Sam
"Just a bit" She replied, as they were walking out she winced in pain.

Paige and Sam were on their laptops as Dean was watching the local news.
"The dad had nothing to incriminate himself" Sam told the other two
"I found out that the old jail housed many nutty murders. One was killed in 1873, went by the name Henry Oldfield"
"So, when the jail was opened again. He tagged a ride in the son and killed the dad" Dean mused.
"But what was the son doing at the jail anyway?" Paige asked, she got up "Lets ask him"
"You stay here" Dean told her, "Me and Sammy will go"
Paige glared at him from the bed "Why can't I go?" She demanded
"Because your still in pain. I saw you in the police station"
"Im dosed up. I can come" She looked at Sam "Sam?" She pleaded.
"Im with Dean on this one"
Paige glared at both of them. "Call me when your done"
The brothers left in a hurry and Paige heard the engine of the impala roar into life.
"Paige" Castiel sat down beside her, she didnt acknowledge him "Im sorry about your family, abour Hantreal. Everything"
"Really Cas?" She replied "Do you really know the meaning of sorry?"
"Paige" He paused "You are the only indigo child left"
She turned around to face Castiel "What!" She exclaimed "What about Gen?"
"She was killed"
"How?"
"We are uncertain but she went through torture" Castiel looked grave "Were afraid you may be next"
"Torture?" Paige asked "Like I havent been through that"
"We are unsure who it is who wishes the indigo children dead"
"Demons, mostly" Paige replied "Unless the leviathan are back"
"No. They went to purgatory many centuries ago"
"Well then - only other options are demons, rogue angels or humans"
They were interrupted by Paige's phone ringing. She waited for it to go to answerphone and heard Dean's voice.
"Paige. I know your mad, but we kind of need your help here. Just pick up the phone okay" There was silence "Oi" The line went dead.
Castiel looked at Paige, she smiled. "Want to come?"
"What about your safety?" He asked
"Screw my safety. Other people need to be saved. Like the Winchesters"
