Rise

Here she was again. She saw her body on the bed, she saw Sam and Cas and she saw Dean. Who blamed himself. As always.

"Hello again Paige" Said a voice

Paige turned around and greeted Death "Good evening"

"Morning actually. Its 1am" Death smiled "Want to take a walk?"

Paige shrugged "Why not?"

Paige and Death walked outside into the temperate hospital garden and sat down on an unoccupied bench. Death watched as Paige basked in the sunlight.

"I can send you back" Death told her, she didnt act like she heard him until

"What if I choose no?" Paige replied "What if I dont want to go back?"

"Then you can leave. The choice is yours my love"

Paige stood up and picked a flower "How bad were-are my injuries?"

"Fatal. Thats why your dead" Death smirked

Paige threw a flower at him "No. I mean if I came back. Would they get me out of hospital?"

"Your body will be released to Dean. I'd make a guess and say that you'll be kept at Bobby's for a bit and then-"

"A Hunters funeral" Paige finished

"I can give you 5 hours to make up your mind. Stay or go" Death smiled at her, "See you later"

Paige felt Death brush past her shoulder and she stared at the rose she held in her hand. She walked back up to her room to notice that only Dean was in there. She sat down on the bottom of her bed to listen to him mutter.

"Paige. If your there. If you can hear me. Im sorry. I shouldnt have yelled at you. Its my fault. Im sorry" He had Paige's hand interwined with his own. "Sam and Cas say you should be burnt when we get to Bobby's but I dont want to leave you. What if you come back? Like last time?"

He glanced around "If your here. Tell me. Tell me that I shouldnt burn you. I can find a way to cure you"

Castiel and Sam walked back in the room and Dean stared at the wall again. His hand still interwined with Paige's. For a moment Paige though she was Castiels eyes settle on her but they flitted away.

She watched Castiel and Sam helplessly try and talk to Dean who was staring blankly at Paige. She watched as Sam and Castiel shared a look which Paige had to try hard to not cry at.

Without her Dean was a mess. With her Dean was a mess.

To live without her, Paige thought, Dean would have full concentration on protecting Sam and saving the world while she stopped the apocolypse. Maybe they would meet again but only time will tell.

"Have you made up your mind?" Death asked

"Yes" Paige simply replied "I want to, come back. I need to stop the apocolypse"

Death smirked "Thats the Paige I know"

"Why do you keep giving me chances?" Paige asked "This is the third time now, Im not special"

"You are special" Death told her "Your an indigo child. Violet. Which means you are the strongest, are you not?" Before Paige could answer "Do you know how Indigo children came to be?"

Paige shook her head.

"When I first met God, he had created the angels and created the first humans. But he wanted a superior race to the humans which could be equivalent to the angels. I told him that I could help with that" Death told her "I told him that each child born under the first blood moon of each month every 100 years would recieve part of my soul and part of God's"

"So I'm part angel, part human and-"

"Part Death" Death smiled "Yes"

"But what has this got to do with the apocolypse?"

"The prophecy?" Death smirked "The indigo child that walks this Earth on a cold day in November shall rise and defeat all evil"

"So to defeat all evil I had to die?" Paige questioned

Death smirked "Yes. Now you know. I can release my soul into yours, it may hurt when you wake up but it wont kill you"

"How will it help me defeat Lucifer?"

"Once you have this part of my soul. Only one thing can kill you and Lucifer doesnt have it. Be good to the Winchesters and Castiel. I dont want to meet them any time soon"

"But" Paige started "What about God's soul?"

"It will awaken inside of you soon enough. Im sure you'll meet up soon"

Death held out his hand and Paige grabbed it, before she blacked out Paige heard Death whisper "Good luck"
