The village was quiet, there was a snarl from the lycans every once and a while. Leigh followed Heisenberg through the snow, her eyes scanning the area. Maybe it was that part of her worried about what she would find, a body of her sister perhaps or even a body that belonged to a villager.

Death was truly frightening to her, she didn't like seeing bodies. The one time she had, it practically made her sick. Logan had laughed, called her a sissy, but Leigh just hated the blood and the gore. It gave her nightmares, but she figured it was time to get used to it.

She needed to find her sister so she just needed to suck it up.

Family didn't abandon family.

"You're falling behind." Heisenberg blew smoke out from his cigar and looked back at her.

Without realizing it, Leigh had fallen at least ten paces behind Heisenberg. "Sorry," Leigh muttered, quietly.

Leigh quickened her pace, catching up to Heisenberg. She still walked behind him, but she wasn't too far behind him. "Just because we made a deal doesn't mean Lady Dimitrescu is going to let you get far. You're entering her domain now."

"I'll hear her coming before she knows it." Leigh usually wasn't cocky, she usually wasn't even prepared, but this time, she truly was. She had a mission that she needed to complete, she needed to see it through no matter what.

Forget everything behind her and everything that she could fear, she needed to forget all about it. Logan was her mission, she needed to recover her sister without either of them dying.

"I would hope so, you need to keep up your end of this deal." Heisenberg smirked, taking a puff of his cigar.

Even if Leigh lost her sister, their deal would still hold up. She needed to keep her end of the deal, he wouldn't give her a choice no matter the outcome.

"I'll keep that in mind," Leigh grumbled.

She thought about the deal she had made, but only briefly. She didn't want to think about it because of the outcome, that could be her life she was giving away for something stupid.

Heisenberg chuckled, looking at Leigh, "you seem confident."

"Something like that," Leigh's eyes shifted to him and then back forward. This man, this monster, was not her friend. She needed to keep what cards she had left close to the vest.

All that mattered was Logan. "All that matters is my sister. I'll do whatever we agreed on and whatever I need to if it means I can get her back." Leigh could only think about Logan. She could use her powers to find her sister, see if she's alive, but anything could change in a matter of time.

What happened if she couldn't find Logan?

A solid pit dropped into the bottom of her stomach and she breathed in. It was better not to think about something like that.

"I just don't really want to think about all the other things." Leigh followed Heisenberg through the snow, she could hear a quiet snarling all around them.

Every once and a while, she could catch something moving in the corner of her eye. The Lycans were watching them like a hawk.

"Are the Lycans the guards or something of the village?" Leigh asked and Heisenberg smirked and chuckled.

"Something like that. If you try to run without completing our deal, they will catch you." Heisenberg smiled back at her and Leigh could only shiver in response.

It had never crossed her mind to run, but she was definitely thinking about it now. Leigh shook her head, trying to shake the thoughts from her mind.

All that mattered was getting Logan, that was all that mattered right now. "Where are all the people that live in the village?" Leigh asked, trying to shake the thoughts from her head by changing the topic. Anything had to be better than thinking about her own demise.

Heisenberg's eyes scanned the village. "Hiding," he chuckled. "They don't want to be in the same position that your sister is in."

"So, this is normal?" Leigh raised a brow.

"Something like that," Heisenberg chuckled, taking another puff off his cigar.

The two walked alongside together until coming to a pair of doors. Heisenberg dropped his cigar and buried it into the snow, staring at the doors. "Welcome to Castle Dimitrescu."

Leigh stared at the doors and narrowed her eyes. Now the hard part started, she needed to find Logan.
