There were chains wrapped around Leigh's wrists as she sat there in the factory. He had not done anything with her yet, he was focused on something else.
Karl Heisenberg, one of the four Lords of the village. A puppet from what she could make out. He was nothing more than a puppet trying to serve a master.
Though, he had not entirely decided what he would do about her and Leigh was fine with that, it would give her time to figure a way out.
All the senses she had focused on a way out, anything that could be used. Leigh breathed in, slowly, she wasn't entirely sure what she was going to do quite yet. There were many options, but it had to be a good one, not something she just thought of right on the top of her head.
Leigh adjusted her hands, the chains clicking as she did. Her sister, that was who she was worried about. Logan and Leigh were always together, but now this had to happen? What were the odds that they would see each other again?
A village full of psychos, absolutely wonderful.
Couldn't get much worse than that, but it could at the same time.
Leigh breathed in, slowly. Her mind was spinning trying to understand the situation, so much so that she couldn't focus on getting out of the situation that she was in. It was a pain in the ass, but she would manage.
Her heart rate began to slow and her mind began to focus, she needed to stay calm if she was going to find a way out. She breathed, trying to listen to everything going on around her. Maybe if she did, she would hear Logan or something leading her out.
"That poor girl, she didn't stand a chance."
It sounded like one of the villagers, but she couldn't be quite sure. However, that was a good option to find a way out.
"I'm going to find her, I promise."
Logan's voice, that was her sister. However, her voice was farther off than the villagers. Her stomach twisted inside, Heisenberg said that she wouldn't survive going after Logan. It would be more of a challenge, but a challenge well worth it.
There was snarling everywhere, snarling of those monsters that Heisenberg controlled. How he managed that, she wasn't sure, but she would find out once she was free of the chains.
The last voice she heard was Heisenberg's.
"She's the key to more power." The sound of metal smashing together hit her ears and Leigh gritted her teeth. "She can help, but I have to... convince her to. If not, I have plans for her."
Leigh swallowed and shook her head, her hearing returned to normal. She leaned against the wall, looking at her chains now. There was no way she was going to get out. Leigh looked around, trying to find anything that she could pry the chains off with.
That man was something else, but it made her nervous. What was he capable of? If he was one of the Lords of the village and controlled the Lycans, he was something else entirely.
However, what did he mean by power? What was he trying to do?
Leigh began to fidget more, causing the chains to clink.
Footsteps started towards her and Leigh froze, watching the door now. She breathed in, shifting against the wall. "There's no where for you to go," Heisenberg stopped in the door. He blew smoke from his cigar out. This time, he didn't have his hammer on him.
Leigh shifted nervously, "there's always a way out... What're your plans for me?" She didn't want him to know she had heard some of the things he had said.
At the same time, she wanted him to know that she knew he was up to something. Whatever she was supposed to be apart of, she wanted no part of it.
Heisenberg looked at her, but he said nothing. "You think you can behave long enough for me to tell you?"
Leigh chuckled. He did have a point, but Leigh wasn't going to hold back especially if they were a threat to whether she would live or die. "So long as you don't try to kill me, I think we're good."
Heisenberg smirked. She was something else, he would have to give that to her, nothing like her sister. Logan had been a pain in his ass when he first snatched her. She never shut up and argued the entire time. The one time she had gotten out, she had put a hole in one of his walls, ruined a few machines and experiments.
Not to mention the Lycans she killed, but Leigh seemed more level headed than her sister. Level headed enough that he could talk to her.
Heisenberg put his cigar to his mouth and took a puff before breathing the smoke out. "What do you know about this place? Anything?"
Leigh shrugged her shoulders, leaning back. This was how this conversation was going to start? She asked what he would do with her and it was a whole other conversation totally off the topic of her question. "Not much, about the same as the other villagers. You're one of the four Lords and I guess more human than the others. They worship some lady named Mother Miranda. Am I right?"
It had just been a short while ago when Logan and Leigh were discussing everything about the village, how there was something hiding in the depths of the village. This was just that thing, the Lords were not human and something else was going on.
Logan had been right all along.
"You're spot on with that. Do you know anything else?"
Leigh chuckled, "no, but I know that the villagers feel bad for me. I guess they saw what happened and now they feel bad. I think that's silly, but why don't you enlighten me as to what I'm missing."
He chuckled, smirking. Though calmer than her sister, Leigh had more of an attitude to her. "I like you, I think we're going to get along just fine."
"That's a matter of opinion there."
