I leaned back in my chair and put my feet on the desk, I checked the time on my phone. I had come into work way too early. I heard the elevator door, I glanced over to see who it was, I saw Sam walk out. I never actually knew what Sam's job was, we all just call him Sam from down the hall. "Hey, Sam!" I say and wave.

"Oh, mornin'!" He replied, he kept walking the other way.

I sighed, I wondered if Abby was in yet. I could have just called down to her lab but I decided to just walk down, it's not like I had anything else to do. I was about to get on the elevator when the door opened and I saw Gibbs "Oh hey boss, " I step into the elevator. " You getting off here or?" I ask.

"Nah" He replied and took a sip of his coffee, " You usually come in this early?"

"Oh, no, my alarm was messed up and went off two hours earlier than it was supposed to and I didn't bother actually checking the time. Why are you here so early?" I said.

"Couldn't sleep," Gibbs said, taking another sip of coffee.

"Gibbs, is there something you want to tell me?" I could sense there was something on his mind.

Gibbs switched the elevator off "Yes, I wish I wasn't the one who had to say it though," He said as he made eye contact with me.

"What?" I didn't understand what he was getting at.

"it's DiNozzo, I saw him last night" Gibbs slowly replied.

"What? He told me he was tired last night and he was gonna watch a movie and go to bed... Oh no, Gibbs, was he with another girl?"

I knew, Gibbs didn't even need to answer me. He knew I knew. He reached out and gave me a hug. I had a million thoughts racing through my mind. I knew better than to trust Tony, I should have known better.

I turned and switched the elevator back on. I stayed quiet and glared at the floor.

I got off the elevator and looked back at Gibbs, he nodded and gave me a small sympathetic smile. I sighed and nodded back. I walked over to Abby's lab, I wasn't in the mood anymore to go see anyone but I had come all the way down so I might as well at least go say hi.

I knew Abby must be in, I could hear the music as I approached the door. "Hey, Abby!" I yelled over the music.

Abby spun around and smiled "Hello!, Why are you in so early?" She asked.

"I could ask you the same." I laughed.

"Oh well I just wanted to get a head start this morning, I had a brilliant idea last night and couldn't wait to test it out."

"Ah, you haven't seen Tony this morning, have you? I doubt he's in yet, he'd never be in early, he can hardly bother to even come in on time." I rolled my eyes.

"Nope, haven't seen him yet." She paused and looked at me, "Are you guys good?" She hesitantly asked, coming a step closer to me.

"Yeah, no problems," I said a little too quickly, I don't know why I even bothered lying to Abby, she and Gibbs can always see through my lies.

Abby just stared at me for a second, she then said, "Call him," And then spun back around to her computer.

"You know what, I think I will," I said as I took my phone out of my pocket and started walking back to the elevator, "Thanks, Abby!" I shouted.

I looked at the name Tony DiNozzo on my phone. I wanted to press the green button and just call him, but what was I supposed to say "Oh hey babe, Gibbs told me about the girl you were with last night" just wouldn't work.
