Undercover pt. 1- Tony - ♡☆

"Why can't you go undercover with Tony?" I looked over my shoulder and asked Gibbs.

"Because me and DiNozzo wouldn't be a very convincing couple,"

"What, and you think me and him would?" I rolled my eyes.

"Well," he shrugged.

"Well I think it'll be fun," Tony jumped into the conversation.

"Of course you do Tony," I sighed, "Why can't I go undercover with McGee instead?"

Gibbs put his hand on my shoulder and said, "Because we need him here to run all the cameras and mics,"

"Well then send McGee and DiNozzo undercover, they'd make a convincing couple. I can deal with all the technical stuff," I knew there was no way I was getting out of this assignment, usually Ziva would be going undercover but she's away for a while so I have no choice.

"Ah, you and Tony will do fine. It's only for a couple of days." Gibbs said while sitting back at his desk.

"Gibbs, the last time you said that it ended up being nearly a month," I ended the conversation there and grabbed my sweater as I walked away.

I went down to Abby's lab, I was met by very loud music. Abby noticed me right when I walked in and she turned the music down. "Hello Haisley, are you excited to go undercover??" She asked me while skipping over.

"No not really, I'm gonna be stuck with Tony,"

"Why's that a problem? I thought you liked him?" Abby said much louder than I would have liked her too.

"Shh, quiet down a little Abby," I whispered.

"Oops, sorry," She whispered back.

"But yes, I do like him, that's why I don't think it's a good idea for me to go undercover with him, especially given that we're going undercover as a couple. I'm not very experienced going undercover. I've only ever done it twice, and I've never had to pretend to be in a relationship," I continued whispering.

"I'm not a field agent so I don't know quite how that feels but I'm sure you two are gonna do just fine. You didn't hear it from me but from what I've heard, he likes you back,"

"Wait what? Who'd you hear that from Abby?" Abby started walking over to her computer, I followed behind her. "Abby, who told you that? Who said Tony likes me?"

"I'm not allowed to say, I promised I wouldn't" Abby said.

"Don't worry Abby, I understand," I sighed, "It's not like it matters, Gibbs is never gonna approve this. Rule 12."

"Oh I don't know about that, I think Gibbs kinda ships you and Tony,"

"What about a ship?" I hear Gibbs say from behind us.

I freeze right in place, "How long have you been there?" I slowly ask.

"Dunno," He shrugs.

I take a deep breath and turn around, "I should probably go get ready for the uh, assignment," I say and awkwardly walk back to the elevator.

I walk back into the bullpen and see McGee sitting alone. "Where'd DiNozzo go?" I ask and look around.

"I'm not sure-" McGee tried to answer.

"I'm right here," Tony cut McGee off as he came around the corner, "We're gonna be leaving soon Haisley, we should probably get ready."

"Wow lucky us," I say as I pull out a box from under my desk. "Here this is what we're supposed to wear for the first day. All our other stuff has already been packed in our bags."
