Summary: The team is doing all they can to find Clint, and find out more about the mysterious figure (y/n) who stole him.
Trigger warnings: None? Kinda just a filler chapter while I try to figure out how to put what I want to happen into words.
Natasha's POV
"And then they just jumped over the edge of the building," Natasha says, "When I ran over, scared to see their bodies splattered on the ground, they were gone. No trace of them, no sign of them on the ground anywhere. It's like they vanished into thin air." There's a shocked silence as Natasha finishes giving her report on the mission from earlier in the day.
"Into thin air?" Steve questions, " I thought Y/n's file only marks them as skilled in jumping and climbing, it doesn't say anything about them having powers, does it?" Bucky pulls the file out of a drawer and sets it on the table. He opens it and skims through the very small file.
"Not much is known about them, really. Nothing on powers or being experimented on." He says after a few seconds. He flips back through the pages a few times, " There's a possibility, I suppose, since it looks like they dropped out of school freshman year. Not sure why, they had perfect grades. Then they disappeared off the grid until a few months ago." He hands the file to Fury, who tucks it under one arm.
"I don't care how you do it, but we need to find Y/n and Barton. Stark, I need you monitoring security cameras as far as you can, for all we know, they could've left the state, or even the country. Natasha, Barnes, I need you looking up everything you can on Y/n. School records, sports they played, where they ate lunch last week, everything." Fury tells the team before stalking out of the room.
"Well, people, best get down to business," Tony says, then heads out of the room after Fury.

"Found them!" Tony yells triumphantly after hours of scouring almost every camera in New York. "They left a department store in Albany about an hour ago, and is headed towards the Hudson." Everyone jumped to their feet, running to get ready for a rescue.
"Whoa! Everyone slow down!" Bucky shouts. "We still don't really know what we're up against. We can't just run into this blindly."
Nat nods in agreement," So far, all we've found out that we didn't already know is that they were raised in a foster home, and they played y/f/s." She walks over to a window, gazing out over the city. "If we're going to rescue Clint, we're going to have to do this right. Tony, keep an eye on them as best as you can, everyone else, help Bucky and I. We need to look through and Hydra files we have to see if there's any mention of Y/n in them." Everyone sighed and got to work.
