SCARLETT
After a very long day of filming, we finally came to an end for the day, we still had just under a month of filming left until it was over which wasn't that long but it feels like we've been shooting forever
"I'm just going to go get Y/n and we can go" I said leaving the hair and make up trailer once my wig was off. I rushed over to the trailer and walked in and saw Y/n watching Taylor Swift songs but she looked so tired
"Hey sweetheart" I said making an appearance, she turned her head and smiled at me pausing the TV
"How long did you sleep for" I asked sitting down on the bed next to her and brushing her hair back
"I couldn't sleep" She mumbled looking down, i frowned and lifted her head back up with my pointy finger
"Why not love"
"Because you weren't here" She said quietly and looked around trying to avoid eye contact, my heart literally exploded once those words left her mouth
"Oh baby" I cooed moving closer and bringing her in for a hug, she shifted towards me and rested her head on my shoulder, i just sat on the bed savouring this moment.
"Alright Elizabeth's waiting outside, are you ready to go" I asked, I didn't get an answer and looked down and saw Y/n fast asleep cuddled in the side of me. I smiled to myself and hooked my hands under her armpits and carried her out the trailer
"She's asleep still" Elizabeth asked as I transferred Y/n into the back of the car and strapped her in safely
"She said she didn't sleep when we were filming because I wasn't there" I said slipping into the front seat next to Lizzie
"Awh, stop that's so adorable" Elizabeth cooed placing her hand over her heart and starting the engine.
After arriving home, it was just past dinner time which meant we'd have to make something quick and easy.
Since we had spaghetti Bolognese last night, I don't want to have pasta again since she had it for lunch also. So I decided to cook up some rice and chicken that was in the fridge and hope that Y/n liked it.
She was currently resting on the sofa cuddled up in a big blanket looking tiny and adorable, Lizzie went home for her dinner and said she'd pick us up tomorrow for work again
I finished making dinner for us two and walked back into the living room to wake up Y/n, i crouched down in front of the sofa and just waited a minute for the right time
"Y/n, time to wake up and have some dinner" I said gently shaking her shoulder a little bit.
"Scarly" She whispered moving around under the blanket and slightly opening one eye
"It's me sweetheart, come on let's get some dinner in that tummy of yours" I said stroking the side of her head and helping her up. I took her hand and lead her through to the dining room as she was still very tired
"I hope you like it, I didn't want to wake you up but tell me if you don't" I said handing over her plate and sitting in front of her. Y/n looked at me before taking a bite sized bite and chewing it for a bit
"It's wonderful, thank you" She smiled happily and went in for another scoop, i shrugged my shoulders happily and ate mine along with her as we made our small talk conversation
"I have the week off next week, so i was wondering if we should go to the beach or do something fun" I asked rinsing the dishes in the sink before loading them up into the dishwasher
"Sure" Y/n shrugged leaning on the counter beside me, i tickled her stomach and she stretched and closed her eyes making her jolt forward and hold her stomach
"Stop" She whined giving me a over the top pout. I messed with her hair, shutting the dishwasher door and taking Y/n's hand
"Where we going" Y/n asked as i lead her through the hallways of the house. I chuckled shaking my head a bit
"To bed silly, your knackered" I said rubbing my thumb over her knuckle as she groaned and stopped walking
"I'm not tired"
"You most definitely are" I said raising an eyebrow, she was basically falling asleep while she ate her dinner, her head was dropping and she was speaking slower than usual
"Am not" She said crossing her arms, i sighed crossing mine also which made her smile but i wasn't trying to make her laugh
"One movie, that's it" I said trying not to smile myself, Y/n squealed running to me and giving me a hug before running off to the living room but stopping at the door frame
"Aren't you coming too" She asked tilting her head which was rather cute, she looked like a lost puppy
"I'm just getting something love, you choose a movie and set you" I smile before walking back through to the kitchen.
I heated up some warm milk as I did last night and brought it back through to the living room
"Here sweetheart" I said opening the door, I looked down and saw Y/n asleep on the floor leaning up against the back of the sofa
"Oh my lord" I mumbled to myself and put the milk down on the table and bent down to lift Y/n up from under the armpits
"Hey, go away" Y/n mumbled half asleep and held onto my arms, i chuckled and lifted her up to her sofa
"You fell asleep on the floor y'know" I said bringing the table closer to the sofa and getting the blanket from the other side
"No I didn't" She mumbled, I didn't even know if she was awake or if you was still asleep or half asleep
"I'm on the sofa so I didn't" She mumbled keeping her eyes closed and leaning against the arm rest. I hummed and threw the blanket over her body and sitting down next to her
"Scarly" She whispered and opening her eyes, she smiled and moved over crawling up to me and resting her head on my chest
"Are you tired my love" I asked running my fingers up and down her back slowly and feeling as she melted into my touch. She nodded her head and wrapped her arm around my stomach, placing her hand on top of my left one
"You want to go to bed" I asked, I know I said we could watch a movie but she was literally already asleep and I didn't want to keep her up any longer. She shrugged her shoulders and tucked her hair over her shoulder so it wasn't falling in her face
"Come on, if your desperate we can watch a movie upstairs" I said taking her hand and taking up, I grabbed the glass of milk and walked with Y/n upstairs to me bed room.
"Get changed, brush your teeth and climb into bed love" I said handing her a pair of pyjamas, she smiled tiredly at me and walked towards the bathroom
"You sound like a mum" She joked chuckling, shutting the bathroom door. I stood still and couldn't move, was that a bad thing I sounded like a mom?
Surely not, right.
After i changed into my own pyjamas, I waited until Y/n was finished in the bathroom and came back out until I went back in and done what I needed to do
"Your sleepy huh" I said climbing into my side of the bed and looking at Y/n who was laying on her side facing me with her eyes drooping shut.
She hummed letting her eyes closed, i smiled and brought up the duvet so it was covering both of us and scooted closer to her. I wrapped my arm around her waist and one arm under her head and she cuddled right into my chest
"I love you so much" I whispered placing a firm kiss on the top of her head and resting my chin on her head also. I've never felt like this before, these natural instincts to keep Y/n out of danger. To keep her safe.
