You and Ethan are happily married. Fortunately. He's still the same guy but he balances family time and work.

"Mom, stop I'm not a baby anymore" you chuckled as you kissed Aiden's forehead.

"I don't care, you're still my baby" he groaned but it was replaced with a smile after a little while.

You have to attend an event at their school which requires parents to come "Mama can you help me zip up my dress?" Ella came inside Aiden's room.

When they turned ten years old, Ethan decided to have their individual rooms since they're already growing up.

"Wow, you look so ugly" Ella snorted as she looked at Aiden. "Shut up dork" Aiden replied and Ella just rolled her eyes.

You just sighed and shook your head as you chuckled and stood up.

Ethan had an important meeting but he said that he would go there right after.

"You look so beautiful mom. Oh my god– I love your dress" Ella squealed.

Oh, you don't work for Ethan anymore since you are more dedicated to being a mother full time but with your hard earned money.

You decided to open a cafe downtown, since you've always wanted to own one.

You come there from time to time to check how it is going. "No wonder dad fell for you" Aiden said, making you chuckle.

"Thank you sweetheart. Now, let's go before we're late" Leo was downstairs, waiting for all of you.

"Ready?" He asked and you all nodded and walked out of the house to get inside the car.

Leo is still single as a Pringle. You didn't know why he doesn't have a girlfriend yet with his die hard body and handsome face, on top of that, he's smart. 'Maybe he wanted to become a priest someday' you thought.

After a couple minutes, you reached Aiden and Ella's School "Mom, I'm just going to my friends" Aiden said.

"Me too mom, I'll see you at the auditorium" you nodded and smiled at them. They kissed your cheeks before walking away.

"Samantha, I'll just fetch Ethan and come back with him here" you nodded and waved him off.

The event won't start for another hour so you decide to walk around the school, trying to find something interesting to look at.

You walked down the hallway and saw a lot of lockers, until you reached the billboard seeing the listed names on whatever club that is.

"Hey beautiful" you turned around and saw an unfamiliar guy.

"I'm the football captain of this school by the way. You don't look familiar either, why don't I show you around?" The guys behind him hyped him up.

You raised your eyebrow "are you seriously asking me that?" You asked.

"Uhm yeah? Why not, come one" he said.

"Kent, what are you doing there?" You heard a familiar voice. You looked behind the Kent guy and saw Aiden.

"Just wanna show this beautiful girl around the campus, why?" You looked at Aiden amused written on your face.

"Dude, are you hitting on my mom?" Aiden grinned. "And my wife" and an arm was wrapped around your waist and you looked beside you seeing Ethan looking at the guy with an intimidating gaze.

"Shit bro, I didn't know she was your mom. And I'm sorry sir" Kent bowed to you and Ethan.

"It's fine, Kent is it?" He nodded. "It's fine" you chuckled.

"No it's not" Ethan just rolled his eyes but you elbowed him on his side, making him groan.

"Dad, mom!" You looked back and saw Ella. Kent's eyes widened. "Why are you here– oh Kent" she looked at him with an uncertain look.

"Hey Ella" he greeted with a smug smile. "Ew" she just looked at him with a cringed face, making Ethan chuckle.

'That's my girl' he thought. After a while he turned both of you around to walk away.

"Is that Val?" You asked. "Yeah, she wanted to come too," he replied.

"— shut up a single piece of crap" Valerie said. "You're single too, stop being a hypocrite" Leo rolled his eyes. "I-I do have a boyfriend" she rolled her eyes.

"With the way you talk and walk, guys will mistaken you as a lesbian" Valerie looked at him in disbelief and scoffed.

'Not again'

Everything was going great. There were a lot of ups and downs during the journey but all of you made it through.

Aiden and Ella are already eighteen years old. Aiden took over Eloise' company after his birthday, his biological mom by the way.

But today, all of you were on a break at the other side of the world, having family time. As usual, Aiden and Ella are bickering on the couch while Ethan is lurking around the living room.

Your phone suddenly dinged. Ella and Aiden looked at it "mom! You have a message from uh who's this– from Caleb" Ethan walked towards them and saw the notification.

You just said okay and continued your work in the kitchen.

"Hun, can you help me find the pot? The small one?" You asked as you looked inside the cabinets in the kitchen.

"I don't know, why don't you ask Caleb?" He said, making your kids chuckle. You looked at him with your eyebrow raised but then you suddenly smiled.

"Good idea, give me my phone Ella" Ella grabbed the phone and was about to give it to you but Ethan snatched it away.

"Who told you to ask him huh? Your husband is right here in front of you" Ethan said.

"Dad, you just told mom to ask him. What a grandpa" Aiden commented.

Ethan was about to retort but you suddenly caught him off guard by snatching your phone "hey we're not finished talking" you rolled your eyes.

You gasped when he pulled you by your waist "who's Caleb?"

"Baby, he's one of my employees at the cafe" you chuckled.

He wasn't speaking so you trailed your finger on his jawline "you know you're the only one right?" He nodded.

"Also, I wouldn't even be with you if I didn't love you and the kids. You also make me happy and make me smile" you said.

"Well, what if my hair turns grey and I would have wrinkles then I don't make you happy or smile anymore" he asked.

"Well, I can deal with your hair turning grey and you having wrinkles love but you got to do something about that 'not making me smile thing'" you said.

"Thank god" he said.

"Thank god what?" You asked. He suddenly caught you off guard when he kissed you, making you smile.

"Thank god that's the easy part"
